ARLINGTON, TEXAS: Arlington police are currently looking for a group of people who beat a 51-year-old man to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

The motive behind the killing is still not known to the Police, but the victim's family says he was just trying to drive a friend home from work when the attack happened.

Who was the victim?

Just after midnight on Friday, January 19, the Arlington Police Department responded to reports of a fight at the Waterdance Apartments on Blue Water Drive.

After reaching the incident spot, officers found 51-year-old Frank Kwasnica III in the parking lot unresponsive with blunt force trauma to his head. He later died at the hospital, as per Fox 4 News.

Kwasnica's daughter told the news portal that her father drove to the apartments that night to drop off a coworker.

According to Arlington police, they think two cars came up next to him in the lot. After exiting, three individuals yelled at Kwasnica. They started to run after him and hit him with two big things.

When Kwasnica's father failed to return home from work and missed to appear at work the following day, the daughter claims she sensed something was wrong.

Kwasnica lived in a Grand Prairie neighborhood about 20 minutes from the apartment complex.

Family mourns death of Frank Kwasnica III

A neighbor who spoke with the portal and didn't want to show his face or use his name since the killers were still on the loose said that he regularly talked with Kwasnica and would miss him a lot.

"He was friends with everybody," he said.

Kwasnica's family shared a statement Tuesday, January 23 saying, "My daddy Frank was one of a kind. The best daddy anybody could ever ask for. He didn't deserve this. We loved him dearly."

Kwasnica would have been 52 years old on Wednesday, January 24. Arlington police said they don’t know the motive behind the attack, including whether the killers were trying to rob Kwasnica, and if he knew any of his attackers.

According to the police, neither the individuals nor the cars they were in have comprehensive descriptions. As of now, no one has been taken into custody.
