Eric Dane’s alleged GF ‘blindsided’ by his red carpet debut with Jannell Shirtcliff amid ALS battle

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Eric Dane’s alleged girlfriend Priya Jain is believed to be blindsided by his recent appearance with 'another' girlfriend, Jannell Shirtcliff, who is a director.

The 52-year-old and Shirtcliff reportedly made their first red carpet appearance at the premiere of Prime Video’s ‘Countdown’ on Wednesday, June 18, at the Los Angeles' Harmony Gold Theater amid his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) battle.

Also, a report by Entertainment Tonight claimed that Dane and the filmmaker “have been in an on-and-off relationship for over three years and care deeply for each other.”

But as per a tipster, who spoke with Page Six on Thursday, the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star and Jain “never broke up”.

The publication also said that Dane and the 24-year-old actress have been together since summer of 2024 and went “exclusive” in November, just before the former’s diagnosis.

In April of this year, the ‘Marley & Me’ actor went public about the health issue as he had shared, “I have been diagnosed with ALS. I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.”

“I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time,” he added.

The insider claimed that Dane’s ALS diagnosis left Jain “devastated”. She never left his side but as per ET’s report, “Eric asked Janell to be there for him during this time, and she wanted to show up for him.”

Also, as per the Page Six source, Jain has even met the ‘Euphoria’ star's children — Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13 — whom he had with his estranged wife, Rebecca Gayheart.

The two are also said to have gotten matching tattoos in 2024 and had last met each other this past weekend.

Meanwhile, Dane and Gayheart, whom he married in 2004, have reportedly “become better friends and better parents”.

In April, the actress reportedly said, “We are best of friends. We are really close. We are great coparents.I think it’s important to not look at a relationship that ends as a failure. It's just a season. It wasn't a failure. It was a huge success.”

“We were married for, I mean, we are still married, but together for 15 years and we had two beautiful kids so I think that's a successful relationship, and that's how we look at it,” Gayheart, who had filed for divorce from Dane in 2018 but later retracted from it this year, added.
