LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Erika Jayne opened up about the emotional turmoil she endured amid her estranged husband Tom Girardi's legal battle.

During her new Bravo special 'Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde', Jayne shared that her son, Tommy Zizzo saved her life when she gave up hope.

Erika Jayne reveals she had suicidal thoughts during Tom Girardi's legal battle

In the special which aired Wednesday, March 6, Jayne revealed that she had suicidal thoughts as the weight of Girardi's legal woes loomed large in her life.

"There was nothing hopeful on the horizon for years. That’s when you’re like, 'Well, why am I here?'" she said.

The estranged couple who split in 2020 have never officially settled their separation.

"I thought about killing myself many times," she admitted, adding that she "would talk to" her son, telling the 30-year-old: "I don’t want to do this. I don’t want to be here."

Erika Jayne shared that her son Tommy Zizzo encouraged her 'to fight'

Speaking about Zizzo encouraging her to not give up on life, Jayne said, "He was like, '…Here’s what you’re going to do. You’re gonna dig your heels in and you're going to fight like a m**********r.'"

"'You're going to show everyone that they were wrong and you were right and then we can have this conversation after that,'" she recalled.

"'But until then, you’re going to fight,'" said Zizzo whom the 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star welcomed during a previous marriage.

Inside Tom Girardi's legal battles

After 21 years of marriage, Jayne filed for divorce from Girardi in November 2020.

Following the split, Girardi who is a former attorney was accused of defrauding his clients. The lawsuits were filed for allegedly embezzling more than $15M in client funds for his personal use.

Jayne who vehemently denied any involvement in Girard's alleged illegal activities was cleared of any wrongdoing in connection to her estranged husband's case in August 2020.

After a judge declared Girardi competent to stand trial after he claimed he suffered from late-onset Alzheimer's and dementia, he is now scheduled to appear in court in May.

The former Los Angeles attorney who was deemed unable to care for himself currently resides in an assisted-living facility, according to OK Magazine.

Girardi was charged with five counts of wire fraud, each carrying a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
