Erin Andrews calls Travis Kelce's surprise stint 'best part' of Taylor Swift's London Eras Tour show

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Erin Andrews was all praises for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce over his onstage stint at one of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour shows. 

The sportscaster expressed being "mind blown" after attending the London show last month, emphasizing that seeing Swift on stage with Kelce was the "best part" of the evening.

While speaking with PEOPLE Magazine at a Purina Pro Plan event, Andrews couldn't contain her excitement as she recounted witnessing Swift and Kelce take the stage together for the first time during the June 23 show.

She expressed, "The Eras Tour was phenomenal. It was everything I hoped for and more. I am sad because I know obviously she's coming to the States in October, but those are weekends I have football, so I can't go. I would love to try to go again. It was just incredible. She's a beast. She's a force. Yeah, mind blown."

When rumors of Swift and Kelce dating surfaced on the internet last summer, Andrews was among the first to welcome the idea.

On an episode of her podcast, 'Calm Down with Erin and Charissa', the sports commentator and her co-host Charissa Thompson, tried to convince the pop star that the Chiefs tight end would be a good match for her.

Later, Kelce expressed gratitude to Andrews and Thompson after a clip from the podcast segment gained widespread attention, saying, "I owe you one."  

While speaking to PEOPLE Magazine, Andrews added, "Honestly, we just laugh about it because we didn't set them up. We just advocated for a friend. We are huge Swifties and thought that they would be such a fun match."

She added, "And I think it's cool to see. Look, we all love rom-coms. We all love love. We all love the good-looking football player that's charismatic and a fun guy to be around. And then we love the amazing pop star and the fact that these two icons got together."

Andrews, who collaborated with her dog and other celebrities for Purina Pro Plan's new 'Fueled By' docuseries, further shared, "And I also loved seeing it up close and personal because I remember when the rumors came out that they were together. There were just so many negative people saying things about it. And I'm just so happy for them."

"And yeah, I thought honestly the best part of the Eras Tour was seeing him support her. I just found that so lovely," concluded the veteran sports reporter.
