Eva Longoria and her family are now hosting friends displaced by the blazes.
“It’s been a crazy week. Devastating for so many people,” Longoria said.
“So many friends have lost a lot—homes, memories, things people have worked so hard for,” the actress shared.
Longoria detailed her family’s efforts to help those in need, including donating clothes and clearing out their pantry to support local relief efforts.

In her heartfelt message, Eva Longoria pledged to match donations up to $50,000 to the nonprofit organization This is About Humanity.
The group supports frontline workers, farm laborers, and families affected by disasters.
“LA is strong. Everybody has been so helpful in the communities—from Altadena to Pasadena to the Pacific Palisades,” she said, commending the outpouring of community solidarity.
She urged her followers to contribute by donating, sharing, or reposting the donation link in her bio.
The toll of the Los Angeles wildfires
The Los Angeles wildfires have left a devastating mark on the region.
Driven by fierce Santa Ana winds with gusts of up to 100 mph, the fires have burned through neighborhoods, displacing over 180,000 residents.
According to Cal Fire, the Eaton Fire in Pasadena has scorched 14,117 acres and is 27% contained, while the Palisades Fire has consumed 23,707 acres and is only 11% contained, according to Daily Mail.
At least 10 fatalities have been reported, and an estimated 10,000 structures have been damaged or destroyed.
Entire communities in areas like Pacific Palisades and Altadena have been reduced to ashes.
However, the Kenneth Fire in West Hills has been fully contained, offering a glimmer of hope amid the chaos.

Eva Longoria took a moment to thank the firefighters and first responders who continue to risk their lives to protect residents and their homes.
“God bless all the firefighters putting their lives on the line to save our lives and homes,” she said.
Longoria’s video and accompanying caption was also a rallying call for community action.
“My heart breaks for the City of LA and the devastating fires that have affected so many lives,” she wrote.
“I hope we can come together and support these resilient members of our community,” she added.
