WASHINGTON, DC: Marie Harf, a Democrat and former official of Barack Obama's administration, issued a severe warning to the Biden campaign for not taking the depressing polling "seriously" amid growing calls from Democrats for Joe Biden to withdraw from the race.

The former State Department deputy spokesperson discussed why the Biden campaign should plan how to reverse President Joe Biden's declining popularity since their debate with former President Donald Trump on 'America's Newsroom'.

Marie Harf says she's 'incredibly concerned' over Democratic Party's inaction over Joe Biden's falling support

"I am incredibly concerned that the Biden team doesn't have a plan to turn this campaign around, that we are going to lose in November, and that they are dismissing concerns that voters have across this country about whether President Biden can win and can govern for another four years," Marie Harf told journalist Bill Hemmer on Wednesday, July 10.

"They're not taking this as seriously as they should," she noted.

Six key swing states have shifted in favor of Donald Trump since Biden-Trump debate

As obstacles to Joe Biden's reelection campaign mount, the Cook Political Report noted that six significant swing states have turned in Donald Trump's favor.

Formerly deemed toss-up states, Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada are now seen as leaning Republican following Biden's poor debate performance last month.

Nebraska, New Hampshire, and Minnesota were all previously likely Democrat states, and now are considered to be only leaning Democrat.

Marie Harf says there's 'a lot of frustration' in Joe Biden's campaign

"I think why so many of us Democrats right now are concerned and are pushing for Joe Biden to take a really serious look at this campaign is because his campaign, since the debate, has said it didn't change the state of the race. 'Look at the polling. Look at the polling. It's still a toss-up,'" Harf said, per Fox News.

She continued, "And what's so concerning about some of the polling you just mentioned, including from Fox, including from the Cook Political Report, is that the polls are moving away from Joe Biden, and the campaign has spent a lot of time attacking Democratic lawmakers like my former boss, Seth Moulton, like, Democratic pundits like myself, people out there asking questions instead of spending all that time trying to figure out how to turn this campaign around."

"I think that there's a lot of frustration that they are trying to turn the page and say, 'We're not having this conversation about the debate anymore,' but the problem, Bill, is that voters are having that conversation," she added. "It's not just pundits, it's not just members of Congress."

Many Democrats have called on Joe Biden to step out of the 2024 presidential race

Since Joe Biden's debate with Donald Trump, many Democrats have urged the president to withdraw from the 2024 contest, even though he has pledged to pursue his candidacy despite serious age-related concerns.

Several House Democrats have called on Biden to drop out, including Rep Lloyd Doggett, Rep Raul Grijalva, Rep Seth Moulton, Rep Mike Quigley, Rep Angie Craig, Rep Adam Smith, Rep Mikie Sherrill, and Rep Pat Ryan.

Sen Michael Bennet became first Democrat to voice concerns about Joe Biden's reelection bid

Michael Bennet of Colorado became the first Democratic senator to express worries regarding the future of Joe Biden's campaign. Since the "disastrous" debate, he told CNN's Kaitlin Collins, that Donald Trump could win with a "landslide" victory.

"Donald Trump is on track, I think, to win this election, and maybe win it by a landslide, and take with him the Senate and the House," he said. "So for me, this isn’t a question about polling. It’s not a question about politics. It’s a moral question about the future of our country."

"The White House, in the time since that disastrous debate, I think, has done nothing to really demonstrate that they have a plan to win this election," Bennet continued.

This comes as party divisions continue to fuel worries about the president's political future, following a closed-door meeting on Tuesday, July 9, where congressional Democrats reportedly discussed their concerns about Biden.

Internet says Donald Trump is 'going to destroy' Joe Biden in upcoming presidential election

Netizens reacted after Marie Harf discussed why the Joe Biden campaign should plan how to reverse the president's declining popularity.

One X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "Trump going to destroy dude."

Another added, "Biden is little but a walking corpse at this point. Anyone who 'supports' his re-election doesn’t care about the survival of this country. They are too full of ego and hate for a man that they have never met, known, spoken to or even been in the same room with."

"If it wasn't for the debate the cover up would have continued! The democrats are having a hard time spinning what many of us already knew and the world just witnessed. Time to go Joe!" remarked another.

Someone else added, "I didn't know that he even knew he is President, but he sure is an angry old Man! Where did he find these emotions?"
