WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump faced an embarrassing moment at the Libertarian Party convention at the Washington Hilton on Saturday night.

As he attempted to rally support for his third presidential bid, Trump was met with boos and jeers, forcing him to cut his speech short after just 34 chaotic minutes.

Jenna Ellis predicts fallout from Libertarian convention humiliation

Adding to Trump's humiliation, former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis took to X (formerly Twitter) to mock the ex-president.

Ellis, who previously supported Trump's baseless claims that the 2020 election was stolen, shared her scathing commentary, stating, "This is what happens when he talks to regular voters who want accountability for government lockdowns and the COVID vax, not MAGA groupies who travel to the Bronx for rallies."

Ellis further speculated on the potential fallout from Trump's disastrous appearance, predicting that someone within his inner circle would be held accountable.

"Some Trump advisor is totally getting fired tomorrow. And then rehired probably by June," she quipped.

Netizens fire back at Jenna Ellis for taking a dig at Donald Trump

However, many Trump supporters were not happy over the dig by someone who was associated with the former president professionally.

A user tweeted, "He owned that Convention with zero intimidation! And who are u calling “regular voters”?"

Another added, "This is the truth You liar."

"Jenna is so bitter," stated a third.

"My gosh you’re grasping! You hand him confused with DeSantis," read a tweet. "You are such a disgusting fraud. And you calling yourself a Christian makes me vomit," penned a user.

"You're so unprofessional. You were this man's attorney. You chose to represent him. Your job was to protect his legal interests. Now you are exploiting that privileged relationship to publicly attack him. Do you not understand what a duplicitous slut that makes you?" questioned a user.

"Are you being disingenuous on purpose?" chimed another.

"The TDS is amazing. He actually has the balls to go to the libertarian national convention and he's not Republican enough. I'm getting so sick and tired of Bush Republicans. MAGA is the Republican party now. Cope," stated a user.
