WASHINGTON, DC: Former White House special counsel and chronic Trump critic Ty Cobb has launched a scathing attack on his former boss, claiming the president's "absence of frontal lobe control and impulse control" was causing “corruption.”

As per the Breitbart story, the explosive remarks targeted recent high-value stock purchases, framing them as “highly irregular”. Cobb did not hold back in his legal assessment, labelling the financial moves as completely unprecedented for anyone occupying the Oval Office. The allegations highlight a deepening rift between Trump and his former legal defender, bringing renewed attention to the highly publicised feud between the two men.

Speaking on the current administration's ethics, Cobb escalated his critique well beyond standard policy disagreements. He characterised the financial manoeuvres as a severe breach of the law.

“Well, I think it does go farther. And I do view it as, you know, intensely criminal. It’s not legal at all. It’s never been done by another president," Cobb said.

Highlighting specific financial moves, the former insider pointed directly to recent investments as proof of a complete ethical breakdown.

There’s never been a president, who has had the, the wholesale absence of frontal lobe control and impulse control, to avoid the kind of corruption that Trump does on a daily basis, highlighted most recently by the $1.7 billion, effort,” he stated

Cobb added, “But, yeah, and these stock purpose purchases are highly irregular. You know, rarely in history as a president, you know, I’ve done anything remotely similar.”

The animosity between Ty Cobb and Donald Trump is very real and heavily documented. Cobb is a veteran lawyer who served as the White House point person handling the administration's response to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation from 2017 to 2018.

Since retiring from that post, Cobb has transformed into one of Trump’s sharpest legal critics.

“When he attacks the pope and tries to insist, fraudulently, to the American people that it’s justified because the pope believes that Iran should have a nuclear weapon — when the pope is on record being against nuclear weapons — it just shows you how crazy this man is,” Cobb told MS NOW earlier this year, also noting Trump’s statements in the wake of filmmaker Rob Reiner and special counsel Robert Mueller’s deaths.
