WASHINGTON, DC: Social media users have been sharing posts claiming that Fortnite launched a new "Charlie Kirk Bundle" to honor the late Turning Point USA founder.

The viral posts contain images and videos that appear to show the conservative commentator as a playable character in the popular video game. So, let's find out if there's any truth to these claims.

Claim: Fortnite launched a special in-game bundle to honor Charlie Kirk

Several social media posts, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), claimed that Fortnite released a "Charlie Kirk Bundle" featuring outfits, emotes, and themed items inspired by the late conservative activist.

A post published on October 27, 2025, by the @women_leaks account on X included an image of the purported character with a caption that read, "Fortnite has collaborated with Charlie Kirk to honor his death."

Another user on X also posted an image, and the caption on it read, "Isnt [sic] it too soon."

Similarly, a post from September 2025, shared by @ProductOfLabor account, declares, "̌🚨BREAKING: Epic games will HONOR the newly dead conservative icon, Charlie Kirk with his OWN skin, in Fortnite THANK YOU EPIC GAMES for standing with Charlie."

Fact Check: There is no evidence of a ‘Charlie Kirk Bundle’ in Fortnite

The claim that Fortnite has released a new bundle to honor Charlie Kirk is false. The game's official website and verified social media pages show no record or announcement of a "Charlie Kirk Bundle" or any related partnership.

A search of the Fortnite collaborations Fandom wiki page, which lists every crossover event and special bundle released by Epic Games, also contains no mention of Charlie Kirk or Turning Point USA.

Additionally, a direct search for "Charlie Kirk" on Fortnite’s official website yielded no results, confirming that no such character or bundle exists. Lead Stories, which first reported the fact check, noted that the claim appears to have originated as an attempt at satire following the September 10, 2025, death of the conservative activist.

Epic Games, the parent company of Fortnite, did not immediately respond to Lead Stories’ emailed inquiries regarding the rumor.

The misleading claim appears to stem from parody accounts on social media that regularly post doctored game-related content. Moreover, credible gaming, entertainment, or political outlets have reported any plans or partnerships between Fortnite and Turning Point USA.

Charlie Kirk’s death has fueled multiple false claims

The false Fortnite rumor is only the latest in a wave of misinformation surrounding Charlie Kirk’s death.

The Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, an incident that has since been exploited for numerous fabricated stories.

Among previously debunked claims were viral hoaxes alleging that Disney had offered $60 million to Hollywood stars for a documentary about his life and that Erika Kirk, his widow, received a mysterious $350,000 money transfer in the weeks leading up to his death.

Both claims were disproven by multiple fact-checking outlets and shown to have originated from satirical or manipulated posts designed to mislead audiences.
