Thousands of students at the University of Mississippi chanted “48!” in unison as JD Vance took the stage. At first, he seemed confused and asked, “I don’t know what you’re saying.” Once he realized what the chant meant, he laughed and responded, “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, ladies and gentlemen!” The crowd erupted in laughter and applause.

Social media lights up after crowd chants ‘48’ for JD Vance

Once the clip surfaced online, it sparked a wave of reactions. One user posted, “I absolutely love to see this. No denying he will be 48."

"He energy’s right, but let’s stay focused -2025 is about RESULTS, not premature chants. Trump’s administration delivered historic border security, crushed inflation through deregulation, and restored energy dominance. Vance’s leadership amplifies that success daily.

While TPUSA’s enthusiasm fuels the movement, real victories come from relentless execution: auditing every agency, slashing bureaucratic bloat, and redirecting wasted billions to American priorities. The “48” hype should remind Washington that MAGA’s here to stay -no complacency, no retreat. Keep the momentum on policy, not symbolism," shares another user.

Another user wrote, "There’s no denying that JD would make an awesome 48th president."

"JD Vance is one of the most articulate, well-spoken figures in politics. 48 material for sure," praised another user.

"EVERYONE, doesnt matter who you like, should be listening to Vance right now..WOW he is GOOD..honestly he is REALLY GOOD..he WILL be President," another added.
