LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sean 'Diddy' Combs has recently made headlines a lot after he was arrested on September 16 for several federal charges, sparking intrigue and concern about various celebrities associated with him, including the Kardashians.

This buzz intensified after a social media post featuring both Diddy and Kris Jenner claimed that the momager was upset after Hulu canceled 'The Kardashians' due to their connection with the disgraced rapper.

The claim quickly went viral, prompting speculation across social media about whether Hulu truly canceled the show. Join us as we investigate the facts and uncover the truth behind these rumors.

Did Hulu really cancel ‘The Kardashians’ for their connection with Diddy?

A Facebook post from September 29 featured side-by-side photos of Diddy and Kris Jenner, along with an inset image of them embracing. The caption read, “Kris Jenner GONE MAD After Hulu CANCELED Kardashians For their Connection With Diddy.” This post gained traction online and was shared over 1,000 times within five days.

The Facebook post included a link to an unreliable website that attempted to connect Diddy with Jenner and her daughters, who star in Hulu's 'The Kardashians'. The article made unsubstantiated claims about the show’s cancellation.

After Diddy's arrest, a clip from a 2014 episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' showed Khloe Kardashian discussing a party she attended with the music mogul. Several clips from previous seasons of 'The Kardashians' have also highlighted the close relationship between the family and Diddy throughout their time in Hollywood.

Fans have shared clips featuring Khloe and Kim Kardashian reminiscing about their experiences at his now-infamous "freak off" parties, describing them as incredibly fun. Other clips revealed that guests often end up stripping during these events.

Viral claim debunked due to lack of credible evidence

Contrary to the claims made in the post, there is no evidence that Hulu has canceled 'The Kardashians', which was renewed in July, according to USA Today

Hulu has not announced any plans to cancel the show, and no credible sources have reported such news. While the connection between Combs and the Kardashians is clear, Hulu has not decided to cancel 'The Kardashians'.

Following the conclusion of Season 5 on July 25, Hulu renewed the series for 20 new episodes.  The premiere of Season 5 attracted 3.9 million viewers across Hulu, Disney+, and Star+ within the first four days of its May 2024 release.

This made it the most-watched unscripted series premiere of 2024 on all Disney platforms, significantly increasing viewership for previous seasons, as per Coming.net. Since the previous five seasons each contained 10 episodes, this means the show will continue at least through Season 7.
