LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A viral claim on social media alleges that Jennifer Lopez left the United States after receiving "massive threats" from her ex-boyfriend, Sean "Diddy" Combs, following his September 16 arrest.

According to TikTok and YouTube videos that emerged soon after the music mogul's arrest, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) "verified" or "confirmed" that Lopez had left the country after Diddy threatened her. However, the veracity of these claims remains in question

Claim: Jennifer Lopez fled the US after receiving threats from Sean 'Diddy' Combs

The rumor seems to have originated from celebrity gossip YouTube channels such as Pop Cult, Celeb Lounge, Just In, and Uncover Discovery, which published videos accompanied by different versions of the caption, "FBI reveals Jennifer Lopez escapes the country after Diddy's threat!"

A thumbnail purportedly displays a split screen of FBI Director Christopher Wray and Lopez boarding what appears to be a private jet.

Numerous YouTube videos have suggested that Lopez's supposed departure is linked to "an alleged FBI report that's been circling on the internet." The videos also gained traction on social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok

A lengthy YouTube video by Celebrity Lifestyle & Moments published on November 6 has garnered over 100,000 views.

No evidence Jennifer Lopez fled the US after Sean 'Diddy' Combs

There is no evidence to support the claims that Jennifer Lopez fled the country following Sean "Diddy" Combs' arrest, as per Snopes.

Multiple credible sources, such as Getty Images and Lopez's official Instagram account, confirm the singer's whereabouts during the time period when certain YouTube videos alleged she had fled the country to an undisclosed location.

Lopez was captured on film at the London red carpet event for the screening of her movie 'Unstoppable' on November 5.

She also shared her London trip, which lasted from November 5 to 8, with her 250 million Instagram followers, and before that, he shared posts from New York City.

Moreover, it seems that the claims of the FBI confirming Lopez's flight to an unknown location have only been made by celebrity gossip YouTube channels and social media accounts. No reputable source or news outlet has corroborated these video rumors.

Despite the unfounded nature of these rumors, the videos may appear credible due to the inclusion of references to Diddy's escalating legal problems, his "freak-off" parties, and other allegations.
