WASHINGTON, DC: Former Attorney General Pam Bondi has recently become the subject of online rumors following claims about her alleged ties to Democratic-linked law firms. The widely circulated allegation also suggests she was on the payroll of firms connected to election attorney Marc Elias, with some posts making further accusations about “hidden” legal work and political influence. Let's fact-check the claim.

Claim: Pam Bondi worked with Democratic-linked law firms

The claim about Pam Bondi originated from an X user, @joshhall2024. The user began the post saying, "🚨BREAKING:🚨 Now former Attorney General Pam Bondi was ON THE PERSONAL PAYROLL of prominent ELECTION RIGGING Democrat law firms, most notably the law firm of infamous DNC lawyer Marc Elias."

The post further stated regarding Bondi’s alleged compensation, "She was receiving compensation through PHONY firms that had been outsourced by Elias as independent contractors to conduct fraudulent legal work and research."

It also claimed, "Bondi was working for the radical left Democrats from the start, which is why under her DISGRACEFUL 'leadership', The DOJ never once prosecuted a prominent Democrat or member of The Deep State for their crimes against our nation."

It further added, "It was just business for Blondie, a former years-long registered Democrat, and she surely lived up to her end of the deal." The post concluded with, "Thank God President Trump FINALLY showed the door to Pam Barbie, who was never really a lawyer - She just played one on Fox News. GOOD RIDDANCE, PAM."

Fact Check: False, no evidence supports the claim about Pam Bondi

Based on available reports and documented history up to April 2026, the specific claim that former Attorney General Pam Bondi was on the 'personal payroll of a prominent election-rigging Democratic law firm' is not supported by public records.

Following her departure, several online posts have circulated suggesting this as a possible reason for her being “fired” by Donald Trump, but these claims remain unverified.

Searches using terms such as 'Pam Bondi Marc Elias' and 'Pam Bondi ties with Democrats' do not produce credible evidence supporting these allegations. Major news outlets and official records also do not substantiate the claim.

The references to 'phony firms' and 'fraudulent legal work' appear to be unsupported and conspiratorial, with no backing from documented investigations or court findings.

Additionally, the statement that the DOJ “never prosecuted a prominent Democrat” under her leadership is factually inaccurate. Overall, the post about Pam Bondi does not present verified information and appears to reflect political opinion rather than facts.
