LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Many celebs have been under intense scrutiny after Sean "Diddy" Combs' arrest on serious charges, and the latest personality is none other than Tom Hanks.

A viral video featuring Hanks, claiming he had fled to Israel after Diddy's arrest, sparked rumors, but this claim was quickly debunked.

Diddy faces significant legal troubles stemming from a raid at his home, where authorities uncovered illegal items. As the story unfolds, it continues to stir discussions across social media platforms.

Viral CNN video claims Tom Hanks flees to Israel after Diddy's arrest

A viral video featuring Tom Hanks dancing included a CNN banner that stated, "Tom Hanks converts to Judaism and flees to Israel following the arrest of Diddy."

The clip quickly spread across the Internet, capturing significant attention from netizens. The CNN headline alleged that Tom Hanks fled to Israel following the arrest of Diddy. The post has garnered over two million views.

Several users on X quickly shared the same video, along with the identical CNN banner headline.

When Logically Facts enquired CNN regarding the headline, a spokesperson confirmed that "this post is completely fabricated."

Further research revealed that the original video of Hanks was filmed at the 2014 wedding of entrepreneur and record executive Scooter Braun in Whistler, Canada.

It was first shared by Justin Bieber on Instagram, captioned, "Haha Tom Hanks singing 'This Is How We Do It' dressed like a Rabbi, lol #thatdancetho." In the footage, Hanks dances to Montell Jordan's song "This Is How We Do It," rather than the Jewish song "The Happy Nigun," as the misleading claims suggest.

The CNN headline linked to the video is indeed fake, and the video of Hanks dancing has been misused in the past to create misleading social media posts with fabricated headlines.

A similar hoax emerged in January 2024 from the same X account, falsely claiming, "Tom Hanks converts to Judaism and flees to Israel following the release of the Epstein client list."

MEAWW recently clarified rumors about Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis potentially heading for divorce due to Diddy's scandal. However, a reliable source has since dismissed these claims as ridiculous and false.
