COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA: During an interview with NPR’s Steve Inskeep, Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley shared her perspective on President Joe Biden's administration.

On Wednesday’s ‘Morning Edition’, Haley opined that the 81-year-old incumbent president is “more dangerous” than his predecessor, Donald Trump.

Notably, she affirmed that neither Trump nor Biden should be elected as the next President of the United States, according to a report by The Hill.

What did Haley say during her appearance on NPR’s ‘Morning Edition’?

Host Steve Inskeep asked the former South Carolina governor whether she thought it would be “a calamity for this country” if former President Donald Trump were to regain the White House coming November.

“I have a lot of concerns about Trump regaining the presidency. I have even more concerns about Joe Biden being president. I mean, you look at both of these men and all they have done is given us chaos. All they’ve done is given us division,” Haley argued.

Inskeep questioned Haley if stating she had "more concerns" about Biden implied that she would support Trump over Biden if they were the two remaining presidential candidates.

“I think Biden is more dangerous,” Haley replied.

“We have seen the fact that, one, his policies are bad,” she asserted, citing illegal immigration, “corporate welfare,” and his move “more towards socialism than any president we’ve seen in history,” as key issues for President Biden.

Haley then slammed Biden's "mental competency," claiming it had "declined to a level that we should all be worried about."

“Multiple things there show that he is not in a good state of mind to continue to lead, and that’s a problem,” the 52-year-old explained.

When Inskeep mentioned that she had brought up reservations surrounding Trump's mental fitness as well, Haley responded, "I have problems with both of them."

“When you look at Donald Trump today versus Donald Trump of 2016, it’s different,” Haley remarked.

“And I think that we have to go and focus on what the newer generation wants, what we need to do going forward. And it’s not having two 80-year-old candidates. I think that’s a problem,” she added in conclusion.

Throughout her presidential campaign, Haley, the last remaining GOP primary challenger for Donald Trump, has been emphasizing age as a significant factor to prospective voters.

The former United Nations ambassador has called for term limits and mental competency tests for politicians above 75 years old.

Lately, Haley has deployed the age argument against both Trump and Biden during her campaign appearances.

Internet says Haley is ‘more dangerous’ than Trump and Biden combined

One user claimed, "If she really believed that she'd be supporting her party's obviously already chosen nominee instead of continuing her joke of a campaign."

Another quipped, "Moral substance of a stale marshmallow."

Someone else tweeted, "Yep, she knows she’s lost, and doesn’t want to be completely forgotten!"
