LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The latest trailer of the much-awaited Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer 'Deadpool and Wolverine' has revealed a glimpse of Lady Deadpool, sparking a flurry of conjecture on the internet.

However, 'Deadpool' fans speculate the enigmatic female character in the third movie in the series is none other than pop icon Taylor Swift after spotting telling details.

Fans convinced Taylor Swift playing Lady Deadpool in 'Deadpool & Wolverine'

Marvel unveiled their most recent promotional trailer for the upcoming movie on Tuesday, July 16, where Reynolds plays Deadpool, while Jackman plays Wolverine - who will be making his formal MCU debut.

Many amazing events are hinted at in the teaser. Above all, it offers a brief look at Lady Deadpool. For the unversed, Lady Deadpool, also known as Wanda Wilson, is the female counterpart of Deadpool, also known as Wade Wilson.

Fans began speculating who might be playing the character because her face is hidden in the new trailer's strolling shot. The list has been topped by two famous celebs who also happen to be friends.

The camera moved up the character's body in the latest 'Deadpool & Wolverine' teaser, from her feet to her neck. The heroes gaped in amazement as she approached them gently.

Fans were given a hint about the person's identity by the few visible inches of blonde hair. Lady Deadpool wore weapons on her hips, a Deadpool belt, and tight red leather from head to toe.

Marvel fans conjectured that Lady Deadpool is played by Taylor Swift due to the character's similar hair to the 'Lover' singer, per The Sun.

However, they have to wait until 'Deadpool & Wolverine' opens in theaters on July 26 to find out who the enigmatic actress is.

Fans noticed additional hints that pointed to Taylor when Marvel released the movie poster in June. The poster was released on IMAX's X page on June 10. The post read: "BFFS 4 LYFE. Bring your bestie to IMAX on July 26."

It showed Deadpool and Wolverine holding hands while wearing friendship bracelets with beads around their wrists. The word "IMAX" was printed on beads that came in various colors for the bracelets.

Friendship bracelets gained popularity during Taylor's The Eras Tour after the pop star included the words "make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it" in her song 'You're On Your Own Kid' from her album 'Midnights'.

Many speculate Lady Deadpool might be Blake Lively

Additionally, several speculate that Lady Deadpool might be Blake Lively, which they believe makes sense given that her husband, Ryan Reynolds, plays the role of Deadpool.

However, neither Blake nor Taylor have addressed these rumors, and Entertainment Weekly reported earlier that the actress was not part of the upcoming movie.

Marvel fans narrow down Lady Deadpool to Taylor Swift and Blake Lively

Following a teaser image uploaded on X, fans have narrowed down Lady Deadpool to only two individuals - Taylor Swift and Blake Lively.

One X user asserted, "We need Taylor Swift for lady deadpool"

Another added, "Omg Taylor it’s confirmed Taylor is going to be lady Deadpool"

"It's going to be Taylor Swift. Incidentally, I need to get my Deadpool tickets," chimed in another.

One asserted, "It’s Taylor Swift. You seem them curves on that Lady Deadpool?! It’s her."

Others contended that Lady Deadpool is Blake Lively as one noted, "Blake lively is definitely lady deadpool"

"I think Blake Lively is playing her in Deadpool & Wolverine," assumed one.

Another said, "So curious to see who ends up playing this role. Blake Lively seems like the obvious choice but we shall see."

"This is clearly blake," remarked another, while one exclaimed, "These are definitely Blake Lively's hips!"
