Fans in disbelief as Holly Marie Combs claims Alyssa Milano got Shannen Doherty fired from ‘Charmed’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Holly Marie Combs has accused Alyssa Milano of playing a major role in the firing of Shannen Doherty from their hit show ‘Charmed’.

‘Alyssa has threatened to sue us’
Combs appeared on Monday’s episode, December 18, of Doherty’s ‘Let’s Be Clear’ podcast, where she shared that she and the show's producer Jonathan Levin met regarding the firing issue that happened in 2001 after the show's third season, Page Six reported.
She said, “He said, ‘We didn’t mean to — but we’ve been backed into this corner — we’re basically in this position where it’s one or the other. We were told [by Alyssa] it’s her or [Shannen] and Alyssa has threatened to sue us for a hostile workplace environment'."

Combs suggested that Milano collected proof against her and Doherty by capturing the apparent moments “every time she felt uncomfortable on set”.

‘This is not a show I wanted to do without Shannen’
The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star, however, mentioned that the trio never had an issue or argument in front of the crew or special guest stars.
She reportedly revealed, “There are actually people who behave badly and get away with it. I don’t think people understand that never happened here.”
Combs also asserted, “This is not a show I wanted to do without Shannen. She didn’t want to do it without me. Therefore, I don’t want to do it without her and that should be fairly clear.”
However, she couldn’t as Levin allegedly blackmailed her to stop her from quitting the show.
‘I couldn’t have been more kind’
During the podcast, Doherty also went on to disclose how she felt after losing the show.
She said, “I lived a year after that sort of replaying everything in my brain and really trying to find those moments [of alleged bad behavior on set] — and I couldn’t find them.”
The 52-year-old noted on the podcast, “I don’t ever remember being mean to her on set. I remember an episode I directed where she did something on the Christmas break and they asked me to work around some things with her and I had no problem with it. I couldn’t have been more kind and understanding.”
Doherty revealed, “I definitely would’ve sued and I would’ve been honest about the situation because the rumors followed me regardless."
She added, “As you get older, you accept that a situation happened. Acceptance and moving on with your life does not equate to forgiveness.”
