Blue Ivy voices Kiara in 'Mufasa: The Lion King'
Blue Ivy will voice the character of Kiara in 'Mufasa: The Lion King', the inquisitive daughter of Nala and Simba (voiced by Donald Glover). Aaron Pierre will voice the younger of Mufasa, while Kelvin Harrison Jr will voice Scar.
James Earl Jones provided the voice of Mufasa in the 2019 remake as well as the 1994 original. Chiwetel Ejiofor replaced Jeremy Irons as Scar's voice actor in 2019.
Many of the voice actors from 2019, including Billy Eichner as Timon, Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Nala, John Kani as Rafiki, and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, are making a comeback.
Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy Carter will portray Kiara, the daughter of King Samba and Queen Nala. Jon Favreau directed the 2019 movie based on a screenplay by Jeff Nathanson, who has returned to write 'Mufasa'.
Blue Ivy is set to appear in the prequel/sequel to the photorealistic animated version of 'The Lion King' following in the footsteps of her 32-time Grammy-winning mother, who plays the courageous lioness Nala.
Fans were grateful to be present as they watched Blue go from a baby bump to bumping to the beats of 'My Power' with her pop star mother.
Rafiki, Timon, and Pumbaa—series favorites and Simba's devoted friends—tell Kiara the tale of the past. According to the trailer, viewers will witness an epic journey involving a young Mufasa, Scar, Sarabi, Rafiki, and Zazu.
The 1994 original 'Lion King', which is regarded as one of Disney's most successful franchises, brought in $960 million worldwide, and the 2019 version brought in $1.6 billion.
