NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Yankees fans were left scratching their heads after Fat Joe's performance before Game 3 of the World Series. Just days earlier, legendary rapper Ice Cube had electrified the crowd, creating a thrilling atmosphere that resonated throughout the stadium.

In contrast, Fat Joe’s rendition of 'All The Way Up' for the Bronx audience fell flat, sparking a wave of criticism on social media. Fans quickly compared the two performances, with many feeling Joe just couldn't match the energy Ice Cube brought to Game 2. The backlash was swift, and Yankees supporters weren’t shy about voicing their disappointment.

On Monday, October 28, the Yankees surprised their Bronx faithful by bringing out Fat Joe as a pre-game act. However, the reaction on social media was one of disappointment, despite the fans’ love for the artist. As soon as Fat Joe raised the microphone, the crowd's energy shifted to confusion and disbelief.

Many Yankees fans were hoping for a more fitting figure to energize the stadium during such a high-stakes moment, and they took to social media to voice their bewilderment, comparing it to the electric atmosphere Ice Cube had created in Los Angeles.

This wasn’t Fat Joe’s first performance, but many felt he missed the mark this time, dampening the vibe. OutKick columnist Mike Gunzelman echoed the sentiment, questioning, "So... Fat Joe before Game 3? Who made this call?"

Things took a turn for the worse for Yankees fans when Freddie Freeman capitalized on the lackluster energy in the stadium. In the first inning, he smashed a two-run homer, leaving the crowd in stunned silence.

While it couldn’t be blamed on Fat Joe, the internet couldn’t help but draw comparisons between the two events. Overall, Fat Joe's performance became a disappointing storyline of Game 3.
