Internet trolls Paris Hilton as she slams Mauricio Umansky for insulting her father Rick Hilton
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Paris Hilton is standing up for her father and is not amused that Mauricio Umansky brought up his problems with her family on his show, 'Buying Beverly Hills'.
On Tuesday, March 12, the socialite took to Instagram to criticize her uncle Umansky for dragging up her father, Rick Hilton, and their previous argument in an upcoming episode of 'Buying Beverly Hills'.
Mauricio is the estranged spouse of 'Beverly Hills Real Housewife' Kyle Richards, whose sister is Paris' mother, Kathy Hilton. Mauricio, 53, used to work with Paris's father Rick at Hilton & Hyland before starting his own real estate brokerage business, per Daily Mail.
Paris Hilton snaps at Mauricio Umansky for discussing family matters in public
Mauricio recounted on his new Netflix series 'Buying Beverly Hills' how he left Hilton & Hyland in 2011 to start a competitor agency, which led to a severe rupture between Kyle and her family to the point where the Hiltons ceased communicating with her.
Entering the debate now, Paris has criticized Mauricio for "using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show."
"My father is a consummate gentleman and has always taken the higher road. He would never speak negatively about his family-especially in the press," she commented on the Queens of Bravo Instagram post.
The 43-year-old celebrity went on, "He would never speak negatively about his family- especially in theFrankly, we are all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show. It is enough already."
Conflict between Mauricio Unmasky and Rick Hilton's estate
In the next episode of 'Buying Beverly Hills', Umansky, 53, discusses his disagreement with the Hilton family that started more than ten years ago when he quit their Hilton & Hyland real estate company in Los Angeles.
"I think I got kind of f–ked by Hilton & Hyland," the real estate expert said. "And when I say f**ked, you know, like, today I’m happy, but there were a hundred agents at Hilton & Hyland."
He went on, "They did a billion dollars for the first time a year. I was 19.6 percent of their production."
Recalling his contributions to the firm, Umansky felt he should have been named a partner, but Rick rejected his request for stock in the business.
Thus, in 2011, Umansky resigned and founded The Agency. Since then, it has grown into a significant real estate company and is now a part of his Netflix shows, per Page Six.
According to Umansky, his departure from Hilton & Hyland caused major discord between him and his now-estranged wife, Kyle Richards, and did not sit well with the Hilton family.
He stated, "You know, her family stopped speaking to her. But she understood that what was done to me was wrong and she stood by me and, at the end of the day, I needed that."
Internet trolls Paris Hilton for slamming Mauricio Umansky
Even though Paris took the side of her father, Internet users took the opportunity to mock the socialite with one exclaiming on X (formerly Twitter), "Ya cause the Hilton’s are such a fine upstanding family"
A second one added, "A bit of wine-some info. Nothing wrong. They did reality TV...."while a third one dubbed Paris, "Ego maniac."
Another one added, "So much feuding today."

Others took to Facebook to back Mauricio Umansky while one said, "Mauricio has been in the family for 28 years. He must have a lot of tea in the Hilton family. She did put the Hilton Reum last name on both kids which is great for them in the future and easy for the Nepo."
"The Simple Life" was Paris' lame show. The title referenced how incredibly simpleminded dynastic wealth becomes after a couple of generations" mocked another one.
One more exclaimed, "Sounds like she is a bit salty at his success!"
"Yet Paris knows nothing about the business side of this. Nepotism at its best" wrote another one.
