What happened to Amy Robach during the marathon?

About halfway through the episode, while talking to Sidibe about marathons, Robach recalled that she fell sick towards the end of the November 5 marathon, and the couple had to pause as a result.

"My stomach, by mile 22-23, I actually threw up on myself, and I had to go off to the side and finish. I felt awful," said the 50-year-old mother of two.

Holmes, who accompanied her throughout the marathon, tried to make light of the incident, joking, "And we were - the two of us, standing there like, 'Hey everybody, get a look!'"

"My parents were tracking me, and they were like, 'What happened for five minutes?' And I was like, 'Yeah, I might have been vomiting,'" continued Robach, before boasting, "We did finish, and it was still my best time ever."

However, her 46-year-old boyfriend went back to further detail the traumatic experience, saying, "This was not a quick little (makes vomiting sound). We were on the side five-plus minutes, maybe even 10 minutes."

While admitting that her "stomach seized," Robach praised Holmes for sticking by her side and not continuing the run without her, even though she encouraged him to do so.

She said, "I was grateful to him. I was like, 'Please keep going.' He's like, 'Obviously, I'm not.' But I would have been totally understanding if he had because, as a runner, you know what it means to have to stop your rhythm."

TJ Holmes wishes to get married

During the January 2 episode of the podcast, Holmes surprised the audience by stating, "I learned that I'm actually interested in getting married again."

"Look, nobody wants to be divorced once, and certainly nobody wants to be divorced twice, and it didn't turn me off to relationships; it turned me off to the idea of getting married again. But, here I am," he added.

The confession came amid swelling rumors that the couple has already tied the knot in secret, as they have teased in the past.
