LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Frankie Valli sparked concerns among his fans as he appeared to struggle to lip-sync to his 1978 hit 'Grease' in videos from a recent concert.

In a few videos uploaded on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), the musician, who celebrated his milestone 90th birthday in May, is seen looking frail as he holds onto a microphone and mouths along the lyrics of his song.

Valli is currently touring with his band, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. He announced the 'The Last Encores' tour in October 2023.

Since January, the 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' singer has performed almost 20 shows with his band.

Before kicking off his tour in Morristown, New Jersey last year, he shared a press release where he said that he feels "eternally grateful for the love and support" to his fans "throughout the decades," as per Daily Mail.

Vallie added, "I always loved touring and can't wait to see the fans."

Frankie Valli's frail look and apparent struggle to perform on stage concerned the fans to a great extent. Some fans even suggested that it was time for him to retire.

One commented, "This video of a 90-year-old Frankie Valli struggling to even lip sync to his old music is hard to watch. Let the man retire."

Another said, "What the hell? He couldn’t need the money, right? That is sad. He doesn’t need to go through this. ❤️🙏🎶," and a person added, "That is so sad. I hope nobody is making him do that. This situation looks familiar."

Someone else remarked, "That was just too much to process," while one more fan commented in astonishment, "Is this Frankie Valli?? So sad 😞 he’s like pushing a hundred."

Another fan reminisced about watching him perform three years ago, writing, "I saw him live 3 years ago & he looked exactly the same. It was bizarre."

"Please let that man rest," urged another person.

One more speculated, "Maybe His 30 year old mortgage on his mansion came up for renewal and gotta pay the bills somehow…"

Another, however, suggested another way of gracefully retiring while imparting his decades-old knowledge to the fans, saying, "Frankie could literally sit in a chair and just talk about his life, career. We need to start reimagining venues for some of the elders or people that just can’t do what they used to do. Be a storyteller."

"Saw him in Jacksonville last Feb so sad he lip synced the whole show but was lucky to see him in 1975," recalled a fan.

A netizen questioned, "Why they have him out there working like that? Why would people pay to see that? Sheesh." Another kind-hearted fan quipped, "Someone connect me to the Vegas loanshark making Frankie do this. I'll buy his debt so the poor man can rest."

As the videos blew up on social media, Frankie Valli broke his silence on the matter. A post was uploaded on his social media page recently, saying, he is "super happy to still be performing."

A statement, written in the third person, read, "Frankie is doing just fine and super happy to still be performing. The audiences are filling venues and listening to some great music. Frankie is doing what he loves to do at 90….we should all be so lucky!"
