Freddie Mercury's secret daughter revealed in explosive new book detailing Queen singer's hidden affair

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: A stunning new biography claims that legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury had a secret daughter he cherished privately until his death in 1991.
Titled 'Love, Freddie', the book reveals that the rock icon fathered a child during a discreet affair in 1976 — a relationship he allegedly maintained in total secrecy for 15 years, reported by The Guardian.
Freddie Mercury’s 'secret daughter' revealed in new biography

The woman, now 48 and working as a medical professional in Europe, is referred to in the book only as “B” to protect her identity.
She has reportedly come forward after decades of silence, contributing handwritten letters and access to 17 personal journals Mercury gave her before he died.
In one of her letters included in the biography, B writes, “Freddie Mercury was and is my father. We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life. He adored me and was devoted to me. The circumstances of my birth may seem, by most people’s standards, unusual and even outrageous.”
She continues, “That should come as no surprise. It never detracted from his commitment to love and look after me. He cherished me like a treasured possession.”

The book, written by acclaimed rock journalist Lesley-Ann Jones, claims the existence of Mercury’s daughter was known only to his most trusted inner circle.
The singer began keeping diaries on June 20, 1976, shortly after finding out about the pregnancy just two days after Queen released their hit single 'You’re My Best Friend', which was featured on the band's 1975 album 'A Night at the Opera'.
He also reflected on his early years in Zanzibar, where he was born Farrokh Bulsara to Parsi-Indian parents on September 5, 1946, and recalled his time at a British-style boarding school in India.
He penned his last journal entry on July 31, 1991, as his health continued to decline. The legendary singer died later that year at the age of 45 from bronchial pneumonia, a complication related to AIDS.
Freddie Mercury’s secret daughter reveals why she’s breaking silence after 30 years

After decades of mystery and myth surrounding the life of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, a woman identifying herself only as “B” has come forward with an extraordinary claim.
In a newly released book, B opens up about why she’s chosen to step into the public eye and share the late singer’s deeply personal writings.
“After more than three decades of lies, speculation and distortion, it is time to let Freddie speak,” B writes in one of several letters included in the book. She asserts that Mercury entrusted her with his private notebooks, volumes of thoughts, memories, and reflections before his death in 1991. “Those who have been aware of my existence kept his greatest secret out of loyalty to Freddie.”
According to B, the decision to reveal her identity and share his journals was made independently, without pressure or external influence. “That I choose to reveal myself in my own midlife is my decision and mine alone,” she states. “He entrusted his collection of private notebooks to me, his only child and his next of kin, the written record of his private thoughts, memories and feelings about everything he had experienced.”
Author Lesley-Ann Jones, who collaborated with B over several years to bring the book to life, admitted she was initially skeptical. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Jones said, “My instinct was to doubt everything, but I am absolutely sure she is not a fantasist.”
According to Jones, the diaries are a deeply personal and candid account of Mercury’s life, written exclusively for his daughter.
“No one could have faked all this,” Jones said. “Why would she have worked with me for three and a half years, never demanding anything?”
