50 Cent and Cassie react to Federal raids on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ homes in LA and Miami
After Sean 'Diddy' Combs' mansions in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security earlier this week, celebrities were quick to react to the shocking developments. As the hip-hop mogul faces investigation into sex trafficking charges, more than a few celebrities have weighed in on the brewing scandal.
1. 50 Cent
50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, has had a long and contentious relationship with Sean 'Diddy' Combs. After the news broke that Homeland Security raided the hip-hop mogul's Los Angeles and Miami residences, the 'In da Club' rapper took yo his Instagram to make a series of posts about Diddy. In one of the now deleted post on Instagram, 50 Cent wrote, "Now it's not Diddy do it, it's Diddy done," before adding, "They don't come like that unless they got a case," per Newsweek.
2. Cassie
Cassie Ventura, Diddy's former girlfriend who accused Diddy of rape and sexual abuse in November 2023, released a statement through her representative after Diddy's homes were raided by the Feds. Cassie's spokesperson shared with Us Weekly, “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law,” before adding, “Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”
3. Aubrey O’Day
Aubrey O’Day, who was the frontwoman of the girl group Danity Kane, (the band that was formed on Diddy's reality series 'Making the Band 3'), recently shared her view of the raids. O'Day, who worked with Diddy in close proximity, took to her Instagram Story to comment, “What you sow, you shall reap,” along with a screengrab of the news piece. She added, “I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured," per Us Weekly.
4. George Santos
The former US Representative took to his social media to put forward his opinion on the Homeland Security raids. In one of the posts, he took a dig at Diddy and wrote, "So I was supposed to be the Gay super villain that the media failed to create all while Diddy was out there in plain sight! #Diddy call me!" After the Maryland Bridge collapse, he again wrote on his X (formerly Twitter), "Now it’s all about the Maryland Bridgegate! Are we all going to just ignore Diddy is the tip of the iceberg of a potential alleged large sex ring?"
5. Meghan McCain
Meghan McCain put forward her opinion on the matter by referring to an old Katt Williams interview where he talked about Diddy's alleged behavior. McCain wrote on X, “We all really need to start listening to every single thing Katt Williams is saying…. 👀,” per Us Weekly.
6. Michael Blackson
Michael Blackson, who collaborated with Diddy in 2005 for 'The Bad Boys of Comedy', reacted to the sex trafficking investigation by firing a series of comments on social media. In one of the posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Blackson exclaimed, "I had no idea this Diddy sh*t will go this far, wtf did this ne*ga do? And why they put the kids in cuffs?" In a follow-up post, he further added, "I’ve always said that every sick shit you do under this sun will eventually come to light. These big boys around the world knows that sex trafficking is wrong and if they get caught they will never see daylight again so why they keep doing it?" As a possible diss to the fact that Diddy's two sons were handcuffed by the Feds, Blackson further wrote, "If you are doing anything illegal please keep your children out of it, you are supposed to protect them."
