There is no doubt that it’s Beyonce and Taylor Swift’s time currently and we are just living in it. They have not only been ruling over people’s hearts with their talent but have also taken home Grammy multiple times with 'Queen Bey' at the top. However, many acclaimed artists deserve to get the coveted award too, but have not been honored yet. Below is the list of ten such musicians.
1. Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez is a star who has given many hits over the years. But despite being so phenomenal and with two Grammy nominations, the 54-year-old has not received a single Grammy yet. Recently, she reportedly shared after winning the Icon Award, “I don’t have an Oscar. And I don’t have a Golden Globe. And I don’t have a Grammy or a SAG Award or a BAFTA or a Critics Choice or a Hollywood Film Award. But this is my fifth Icon Award.”
2. Katy Perry
Katy Perry needs no introduction. With songs, like ‘Teenage Dream’ and ‘California Gurls’, she has proved herself numerous times. She has also received Grammy nominations 13 times over the years but is yet to get the one to take the award home.
3. Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj has been nominated for a Grammy 10 times but she has not got one yet. However, there is the possibility of her receiving the Recording Academy’s Little Golden Record this year because her song 'Barbie World' has been nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media and Best Rap Song.
4. Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton has been nominated eight times for the Grammys but he has not won one yet. However, his wife Gwen Stefani has taken three Grammys home over the years.
5. Lana Del Rey
Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, famously known as Lana Del Rey, has wooed her fans with her melancholic style of pop music. But it seems the Recording Academy has not noticed her talent since the 38-year-old singer has not won a single Grammy yet despite 11 nominations.
6. Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus is yet to win the Recording Academy’s Little Golden Record. The 31-year-old has been nominated for the 2024 award in six categories as she tweeted, “It’s fun to be nominated & exciting to win but having my music be LOVED around the world is the real trophy.”
7. Selena Gomez
Though Selena Gomez was nominated twice for her work, she has not gotten any yet. The 31-year-old singer has, however, been honored with many awards.
8. Jonas Brothers
The famous Jonas Brothers have twice been nominated by Grammy, in 2009 and 2020 respectively, but they are yet to get one to take one.
9. Queen
One of the oldest and the biggest rock bands, Queen, has yet to get a Grammy for its work. The band has, however, been nominated four times.
10. Snoop Dogg
The hip-hop OG Snoop Dogg is also been on the list of such artists who have surprisingly not won a Grammy despite being nominated several times. Last year, he even wrote on Instagram, "Snoop dogg. 20 nominations. 0 wins. 👊🏾🐾👏🏿."
