Gal Gadot says she would give birth 'once a week' if she could

Gadot who is also the mother to her three daughters, Alma, 12, Maya, six, and Daniella, two, with Varsano, previously expressed her admiration for motherhood and her love for giving birth.

"I love giving birth. I would do it once a week if I could. It's so magical," said the 38-year-old actress to InStyle in January 2022.

"And I always take epidurals, to be fair, so it's not so painful. Just the moment you feel like you're creating life, it's incredible."

Despite her enthusiasm, Gadot admitted, "pregnancies are hard for me."

"I feel sick and have migraines. I'm not in my element," she explained.

"Shooting a movie while being pregnant, or when you have a baby. When you're on set, you're like a kite. You can fly so high and try to catch the air. Then you go back home to do your main shift as being a mother," Gadot said at the time.

"It's not about me, it's, 'OK, now I need to bathe Maya, feed Alma, put Daniella to bed.' That is the badass thing I do: the juggling between my family life and my acting career," she added.

Gal Gadot opens up on being a 'girl parent'

In a conversation with 'Heart of Stone' co-star Jamie Dornan in August 2023, Gadot talked about her bonding with him about both being "girl parents."

"We kind of hit it right from the get-go,” Gadot said of their similarities which Dornan agreed as he said their connection was "instant."

While their friendships flourished, their children were not able to do the same, despite the actors' efforts to arrange a meeting or playdate.

"But it didn't work out,” said Gadot, who humorously attributed the halt to her co-star's need for "some quiet time."

“I think Jamie was like, ‘I just need some quiet time,’” the actress joked, according to ET.
