Gigi Hadid shares rare photos of her and Zayn Malik's daughter Khai in honor of her 6th birthday

Gigi Hadid took to Instagram to share a heartwarming birthday tribute for her daughter, days after she turned six. One of the photos in the carousel showed the supermodel lovingly embracing Khai against a backdrop of what appeared to be birthday decorations.

Khai reportedly had a lot of fun on her birthday, as one snap in Gigi Hadid's post showed the six-year-old trying her hand at baking. In the picture, the little one could be seen wearing a denim dungaree while whisking what appeared to be cake batter with the help of a beater.

Gigi Hadid also made sure to give fans a peek into her daughter's baking skills. While one of the slides showed Khai mixing cake batter, another offered a look into the results. In this image, the little one could be seen holding a tray full of delicious cupcakes topped with white frosting and sprinkles. These photos appear to highlight Khai's interest in baking from an early age.

Another photo shared by the model showed Khai seemingly offering a plate consisting of a cupcake and a slice of bacon to her famous mother. The baking also appeared to be part of Khai's birthday celebration, as the cupcake came with a tiny candle added to the top. Gigi Hadid has adored her daughter in the Instagram post, calling her "curious, creative, loving, spunky."

One adorable photo included in Gigi Hadid's post showed Khai lovingly holding a frog between her palms, highlighting her love for animals and nature. In her birthday tribute, Gigi Hadid mentioned that she was "so proud" and "lucky" to be Khai's mother. The model welcomed Khai with ex-Zayn Malik in 2020, just a year before the former pair called it quits. However, the duo continues to be successful co-parents to their daughter. Speaking about their co-parenting arrangement, Hadid told Vogue in 2025, "Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance. That doesn't mean that it doesn't change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other's backs."
