LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gigi Hadid might be "crazy about" Bradley Cooper right now, but some of her close ones believe her feelings for Zayn Malik haven't faded.

The 29-year-old supermodel, who is currently in a relationship with the ‘Maestro’ actor, and former One Direction member shared a passionate on-and-off romance for nearly six years before their nasty breakup in 2021.

Nevertheless, a source close to Gigi recently told Life & Style that she has "totally forgiven" Zayn and it's not without the realm of possibility that "he could win her back."

Gigi Hadid will always have a 'special place' in her heart for Zayn Malik

The source shared, "They obviously went through a horrible break-up, but they’ve worked through things for the sake of their daughter and are getting along really well again."

The former couple were first linked together in 2015. They went their separate ways in 2021 following a dispute surrounding Gigi's mother, Yolanda Hadid.

As per the source, Zayn, with whom Gigi shares daughter Khai, "has really mellowed out." "He’s done so much growing up and is in a much better place now, mentally and emotionally," revealed the tipster, before adding, "It's such a relief for everyone in his life, especially Gigi."

They further said that despite their tumultuous history, Gigi "will always have a special place in her heart for him and has totally forgiven him for what he put her through."

"She’s really impressed with all the work he’s done on himself and raves about what a great daddy he is to Khai," noted the source.

While the tipster clarified that the supermodel is "crazy about Bradley right now," the road to reconciliation with Zayn might still be open.

"It’s not as though she’s pining for Zayn or talking about getting him back. But who knows what could happen down the line, especially since he’s still single and Bradley isn’t exactly moving quickly on proposing to Gigi," shared the mole.

They said prophetically, "Everyone knows Zayn’s still in love with her so it’s very possible he could win her back. She’s certainly saying nothing but good things about him at the moment."

What caused Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's nasty breakup?

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid broke up in October 2021, just a year after welcoming their daughter Khali, whose full name has recently been revealed as Khai Malik.

Reports from that time claimed that the 'Dusk Till Dawn' singer got involved in an altercation with Gigi's mother Yolanda, who claimed Zayn "struck" her.

The former One Direction member "adamantly" denied the allegations, calling them "false," according to CapitalUK.

At the time, Zayn said, "In an effort to protect that space for [Khai] I agreed not to contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago," before adding that he wanted to remain "vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves."

The singer explained that he was not speaking about the matter as he wanted to create "a place where private family matters aren't thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart," noting that the incident "was and still should be a private matter."

The alleged 2021 incident led Zayn to plead no contest to four charges of harassment against Yolanda and Gigi.
