‘Beyond ridiculous': Glasgow college slammed for offering Taylor Swift masterclass ahead of Eras Tour
GLASGOW, SCOTLAND: It seems Taylor Swift's influence and majestic aura have transcended beyond the stage to classrooms. Recently a college in Glasgow launched a masterclass based on the singer to let students become familiar with the 'Fortnight' singer ahead of the European leg of her Eras Tour.
Swift's power is no joke. She recently gave the world a sneak peek into it after her recent album 'The Tortured Poets Department' (TTPD) peaked at the Billboard 200 albums chart and sold 2.61 million units in just the first week of its release, breaking numerous records.
Glasgow College introduces masterclass on Taylor Swift
According to the Daily Mail, Glasgow Clyde College is offering a Swift masterclass ahead of the pop star's concert in Edinburgh. The course aims to help parents and students prepare for the concert, where Swift will perform at Murrayfield Stadium as part of her Eras Tour on June 7 and June 9.
The college staff stated that the session on May 7 would help non-Swifties fully appreciate "iconic moments" duirng the show.

Robert Anderson, the curriculum assistant principal at Glasgow Clyde College, stated, "We created this masterclass, to prepare those who'll be heading along to the gig with their superfan kids, friends, or partners to ensure they have just as memorable a time. Taylor's gigs are known for being so well crafted, and unless you're a fan yourself, you might miss some of the iconic moments."
The class is free and will last for 90 minutes at the college's Langside campus.
It will cover crowd chants, details about each era of Swift's career, her wardrobes, and hairstyles from throughout the eras, make-up techniques for attending the sold-out shows, as well as details on setlists and key lyrics.
