'Glee' actor Lea Michele shares baby girl's name as she welcomes second child with husband Zandy Reich

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Glee' alum Lea Michele announced on Sunday, August 25, that she and her husband Zandy Reich had welcomed a baby girl into their family.

The 37-year-old shared a picture of her newborn baby's foot on Instagram, showing her husband Reich, 41, and their son Ever caressing her leg. Lea wrote, "Our hearts are so full Emery Sol Reich," as the caption, revealing the child's name.

The pair initially connected in 2017 but remained as friends for several years before getting romantically involved. They tied the knot in March 2019 in North Carolina, per The Sun.

With the new member of the family, Ever Leo, the couple's 4-year-old son, now has a big brother.

Michele and Reich welcomed their son Ever into the world in August 2020 after getting married in March 2019. The 'Scream Queens' actress revealed in March of this year that she and Reich were expecting a second child.

Michele shared a set of pictures of herself holding her tummy and gazing down at her growing baby bump while wearing a white shawl and underpants.

The actress posted a picture of herself showing off her baby belly on Instagram along with the caption, "Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed. 💛"

The Broadway actress later disclosed the gender of her second child on Mother's Day, posting a picture of herself holding her growing child on Instagram in observance of the occasion.

"The most beautiful Mother’s Day today, holding my son who made me a mama…and carrying my daughter. 💕💐," she remarked at the time, per People.

During a July 'BDA Baby' podcast interview with Katherine Schwarzenegger, Michele revealed that she had "two back-to-back very early failed pregnancies" while attempting to conceive baby number 2.

She said, "I had never had a miscarriage before. The first one, I was like, ‘That was weird.’ When it happened again right away, I was like, ‘Wait a second. Something is wrong.’"

The 'Glee' alum then disclosed that the couple, who got married in 2019, had to "step away" from trying for a second child while she worked on the Broadway production of 'Funny Girl' in 2022.

"It wasn’t until a little bit later [that] I had another [pregnancy loss]. I was actually working at the time. It was super challenging to be working and having to...process what we were experiencing at the same time, which was very painful," Michele added.

Michele continued, saying that she had "painful periods" and "ton of stomach issues" and that she had initially shrugged it off as "stress from working" until being diagnosed with endometriosis, per HuffPost.

To eventually become pregnant again, she said that her New York medical team had given her "so many drugs and medications and one thousand shots."

The 'Scream Queens' actress previously addressed another challenge she had with becoming pregnant: polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS, a hormonal disorder that affects women who are ready to conceive.
