GMA's Ginger Zee amazes fans as she captures breathtaking photos of Northern Lights while on assignment
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ meteorologist Ginger Zee is an adventurer at heart and her latest work assignment in Canada proves that notion.
The 42-year-old took a trip away from the ‘GMA’ studio to capture the Northern Lights in Yellowknife, Canada as a part of her big work assignment.
Somara Theodore has been filling in her absence as a ‘GMA’ weather correspondent.
Zee is set to be there for another few days but finally manages to witness the Northern Lights in all its glory.
She took to Instagram immediately to share the excitement with her followers and shared a series of snaps that captured the famed Aurora Borealis.

The ‘GMA’ star went all out in her post as she shared a series of photos that captured the Northern Lights.
At first, Zee can be seen wearing a red jacket with a hoodie as she stands next to her producer, Samantha Wnek.
The next two snaps were of the Northern Lights, painting the sky fluorescent green with a clear valley of stars behind them. It was a breathtaking sight to behold for both Zee and her crew.
She followed it up with some close-up shots of the lights, trying to capture the essential beauty of this phenomenon.
Later, Zee posed as the lights shone behind her. At last, she also shared a group photo with her crew and thanked them for bearing the cold and making this venture a reality.

Fans couldn’t believe their eyes after Zee shared the gorgeous and breathtaking snaps from her work assignment in Canada.
