NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The January 8 episode of 'The View' had Dr Jennifer Ashton, correspondent of ABC's 'Good Morning America,' join the co-hosts to discuss her new magazine.

The title of the publication shares the correspondent's name, and the second issue is out for sale at the moment, stated co-host Ana Navarro.

"We should note that the first issue was the publisher's best launch in three years. So congratulations," she added.

Which co-host led to the pregnancy speculations?

One of the topics which Ashton, 54, discussed on the morning talk show was the newly created Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine, reported The US Sun.

During the segment, co-host Sunny Hostin revealed that while she had the Covid-19 vaccine and the Covid-19 booster shot, she "wasn't offered" the RSV vaccine.

The Chief Medical News Correspondent of ABC News then explained that Hostin was not offered the vaccine because the medical professionals "didn't think she was pregnant."

The RSV vaccine is reportedly offered only to those who are more than 60 years of age, or are pregnant.

Ashton confirmed with a swift downward glance at Sunny's stomach that she indeed "didn't have a bun in the oven," according to The Sun.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, 34, chimed in at that point, saying, "Sunny's pregnant? It was her (Hostin) this whole time."

The doctor decided to clarify the situation, and once again declared that Hostin was "definitely not pregnant."

Pregnancy rumours have lately followed Alyssa Farah Griffin

The 'Summer on the Bluffs' author had fuelled the rumours while posing for photographs on a romantic Christmas holiday with husband Justin Griffin.

One of the pictures that she posted on Instagram showed Alyssa standing all bundled up with the couple's dog, Herbie, cuddled in her arms on the balcony of their getaway home. The way she cradled Herbie in her arms covered her belly from the view.

In another picture, she appeared smiling alongside her husband Justin. However, the photograph happened to be a selfie taken from the chest up, with Justin standing slightly ahead of his wife, which made her midsection stay out of the shot once again.
