‘Can’t wait to watch’: ‘GMA’ host Michael Strahan's movie featuring Snoop Dogg has fans eagerly awaiting premiere
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Michael Strahan has partnered up with famed rapper and musician Snoop Dogg to release a new sports comedy film named, ‘The Underdoggs’
Through his company, SMAC Entertainment, Strahan has produced yet another project after making a documentary titled, ‘BS High’ with HBO about a fake high school football team that ended up on national television.
Strahan runs SMAC Entertainment with his partner Constance Schwartz-Morini whom he met in the 90s during his early NFL career.
‘The Underdoggs’ is expected to premiere on Amazon Prime on January 26, 2024.

Michael Strahan promotes his new venture with Snoop Dogg
The former NFL star took to his Instagram to share the trailer of the sports comedy film, starring Snoop Dogg.
As per IMDb, the official synopsis of ‘The Underdoggs’ reads, “Jaycen "Two Js" Jennings is a washed-up ex-professional football star who has hit rock bottom. When Jaycen is sentenced to community service coaching an unruly pee-wee football team, he sees it as an opportunity to turn his life around.”
Strahan appeared excited while promoting the trailer of the film and later captioned his post, “Looking forward to this! Congrats @conschwartz and @snoopdogg on bringing this to life! @smacentertainment.”
“2024 is the year of the underdog. Check out #TheUnderdoggs, premiering January 26 on @primevideo,” he concluded.
Fans who saw the trailer were over the roof. One said, “This looks like it will. be great . Congratulations,” while a second simply wrote, “Dope (with fire emojis)."
“I’m all in for this!!,” wrote a third while a fourth stated, “Haha. Looks hilarious & beyond interesting!! Fun Movie to watch!!”

The NFL legend is renowned for juggling multiple work gigs in his life.
Only recently, when the ‘GMA’ star was out promoting his show, ‘The $100,000 Pyramid’, a troll came running to the comments section to take a dig at his attire.
Strahan was promoting the game show talking about the special guests, Backstreet Boys. Although, the attention of many went to what Strahan was wearing in the clip.
The ex-NFL star wore a half-sleeve sweater, laden with green and red colors with two polar bears on each side of the pocket.
A user couldn’t help but comment, “How are you actually pulling off the ugly sweater vest right now,” taking a dig at the ‘GMA’ star’s attire.
However, Strahan didn’t take heed of the comment and never responded.
