LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jon Pardi is celebrating 100 days of his sobriety while recognizing the weight loss that has been facilitated because of his renunciation of alcohol.

Jon Pardi reveals he has ‘been 112 days sober’

The ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ singer shared with the podcast hosts Kelly Sutton and Amber Anderson that "I've been 112 days sober. I’ve lost a bunch of weight,” per People.

Talking about his health condition, he further added, "I was pre-diabetic, and I was just like, I gotta stop."

However, it was added weight that made him feel “unhappy” about his appearance and became the driving force behind his decision to venture into his journey towards sobriety.

He shared, "I was really getting to the point where every picture, every video I was so unhappy with myself," before adding, "And where I was going, I needed to just take a break."

The ‘Night Shift’ star is, nevertheless, keen on keeping his weight loss secret to himself as he wants anyone who is struggling with weight gain and alcoholism to know that giving up on alcohol will help in managing weight.

He spoke candidly, saying, "I just did a photo shoot and I was like...Damn, I look good, Take that Tito's!"

He added encouragingly, "But for anybody that's thinking about it, if they want to lose weight and you do drink, let me tell you, it does help tremendously if you stop."

While he has given up on alcohol, the ‘Ain’t Always the Cowboy’ singer admitted he was still guilty of indulging in his sweet tooth.

Pardi said, "I love me some ice cream," before adding, "I'm like, Well, I'm not drinking. I better get this Twix candy ice cream. Coffee ice cream. So good."

As the ending note, he quipped, "I'm retired, OK? Doesn't mean I can't come out of retirement," noting, "But for right now, it's been great."
