LONDON, UK: Chef Gordon Ramsay has been facing the heat after allegedly serving an uninspiring English breakfast for $25 (£19) at one of his restaurants.

The Michelin-star chef - known for his temper while castigating faulty restaurant owners who participated in his ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ show, is the owner of several restaurants around the world including one eatery called Bread Street Kitchen & Bar.

However, if the pictures are to be believed, the diner’s offering of full English may not satisfy the discerning tastes of many customers, per LADbible.

Gordon Ramsay has come under fire for breakfast platter

Recently, an X user, by the name of Silvio Tattisconie (@SilvioTattiscon) posted a picture of a full English breakfast that is supposedly available at the ‘Masterchef’ judge’s restaurant.

Tattisconie shared the picture of the food-laden plate with the caption, “Bread Street Kitchen, a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, yours for £19.”

Though he did not mention the location of the diner, the franchise operates in several locations including Stratford, London, Liverpool, and Edinburgh among others.

As soon as Tattisconie uploaded the image, it went viral in no time and garnered over three million views and more than three thousand comments.

Priced at £19 ($25), the seemingly disappointing-looking platter consisted of just one sausage, two bacon rashers, two poached eggs, beans in a small cup, one triangular hash brown, and a whole mushroom.

Needless to say, the meal did not receive the internet’s approval who took it upon themselves to remind Ramsay that he was charging more for rather unappetizing food.

Gordon Ramsay gets shredded online for uninspiring breakfast

Internet was left gravely disappointed at the breakfast platter as they found it not only unappetizing but also lacking.  Some of the netizens even called the esteemed chef for allowing such lackadaisical food in his restaurant for such a high price.

One of the social media users commented online, "It’s only a little more expensive than the breakfast in most restaurants in Glasgow Airport, pure rip off."

Someone else questioned sarcastically, "Where’s the other half of the breakfast?"

"Wow. I rather stay home. This is probably around £2," declared another unimpressed user.

Another user provided helpfully, "£5.50 in Morrrisons. And you get toast."

Someone else noted, "Looks like a motorway service station breakfast. 👎"

"I did better back when I was a Little Chef through college," shared another user who recalled making better food as a young student.

Another social media user declared unabashedly, "I could do better than that. £19 is daylight robbery."

"That looks absolute sh**e it’s not worth £5 never mind £19," shared someone else.

Meanwhile, another netizen noted, "He does the same at The Savoy for £25 - I kid you not."

"Our local cafe & sandwich shop gives you double that for half that price," shared another user who praised local cafe food while dissing the alleged breakfast from Gordon Ramsay's kitchen.

Someone else interestingly referenced Ramsay's 'Hell's Kitchen', while commenting, "Ironically it looks like a plate in a restaurant where Ramsay would come in and save the business."

"That is a pitiful effort at a full English and one I wouldn’t pay a fiver for! If Ramsey has put his name to it I’m amazed he’s permitting that to continue," noted another social media user.
