Gordon Ramsay reveals date nights with wife Tana are 'crucial' to keep their spark alive
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gordon Ramsay reveals one of the secrets to his successful marriage with wife Tana Ramsay.
The 'Kitchen Nightmares' star shared the importance of dates to keep his spark alive, and how important short getaways are to reconnect themselves with each other.
“Date nights are crucial, whether it's the cinema, whether it's going out for a drive. We have a little time, but it's quality, and so that is really important,” said the celebrated Chef, per People.
Gordon and Tana Ramsay pick weeknights to enjoy with family
Interestingly, the Ramsay pair chooses weeknights over weekends, "Everyone thinks Monday is the most boring day. It's not,” Gordon explained. “With a young family, we are grabbing moments, and that date night moment is crucial.”
The couple recently welcomed son Jesse, and are also proud parents to Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 24, Matilda "Tilly", 22, and Oscar, five.
They also enjoy short getaways to reconnect and strengthen their bond.
“We were in Nottingham two weeks ago. We went to go see Tilly up at her university. And after walking the campus and seeing Tilly on her campus, we then went for dinner at a two-Michelin star [restaurant] up in Nottingham and then drove back the next morning,” Gordon told the outlet.

Last year, Gordon shared that their kids prefer Tana's cooked meals over his, “The kids always say my food’s too posh.”
“I would say it would be her bolognese lasagna, where she makes this incredible bolognese sauce,” the chef answered when asked about his favorite meal.
Sharing his thoughts on the age gap between his children, he said, “The second part of this family with the other two little ones, I think they're in a great position because they're getting educated a lot earlier from their bigger, older siblings, and they're fascinated with their careers.”

“Oscar understands what a police officer does now because his big sister is one, and then he's still trying to put Jack's Green Beret on,” he added.
"So as a 5-year-old, he's picking up on the importance of working and career wise. It's pretty incredible,” the proud father shared.
Megan works at the Metropolitan Police in London, and Jack is a Royal Marine commando.
