Grammys Worst Dressed: Billie Eilish's bizarre outfit and Doja Cat's sheer gown among red carpet fails
The 10 worst-dressed stars at the 2024 Grammy Awards
The 2024 Grammy Awards had a huge turnout of the industry's brightest stars, with the red-carpet arrivals setting the tone for an extravagant evening. The elegant event was marred by a slew of fashion gaffes shortly after the red carpet opened, ranging from gaudy patterns and color bursts to horrifyingly exposed costumes and ridiculous designs. Following the end of the red carpet event, we have compiled a list of some of the worst-dressed celebrities from the evening.
Doja Cat
The ever-daring Doja Cat topped the list of the worst-dressed celebs at the event. She made a terrible fashion blunder by showing out her nipple to cameras while wearing a see-through nude gown that revealed every tattoo on her body. With the name of the designer, Dilara Findikoglu, tattooed on her forehead, the Best Pop Solo Performance nominee strutted the red carpet wearing the revealing corset outfit.
Billie Eilish
The 'What Was I Made For?' singer wore a retro Barbie jacket that Chrome Hearts redesigned, staying true to the brands—hers and Mattel's. Barbiecore was never her style, but much like most of her red carpet looks, she manages to take trends and give them a twist that is distinctive and authentically her own. One cannot always say that about her style choices, but it's an appealing outfit.
Chrissy Teigen
Next up was Chrissy Teigen, who made headlines when she appeared on the red carpet donning a micro mini dress with a black strapless bodice and a massive flower-shaped tutu that added a hilarious touch to the ensemble.
Charlotte Lawrence
When model Charlotte Lawrence posed in front of the cameras, her navy lace gown—which at first glance might have seemed elegant—turned entirely transparent, exposing far too much flesh in addition to her black underwear.
Kat Graham
Actress Kat Graham looked bewildering in an optical illusion style dramatic white gown that gave the idea of revealing a lot of skin and included a bewildering cape-like piece to cover her modesty in the front. Some participants' outrageous color choices made the red carpet resemble a clown show in other places.
Lana Del Rey
The 'A&W' and 'Candy Necklace' singer pushed the mafia wife trope to its utmost, appearing as though she had just left the set of 'Goodfellas'. There's something truly entertaining about this outfit, and one cannot say she looks horrible in any of it, though many might think it's a touch too sweet and costumey with hair, glove, or shoe bows—but not all three at once.
Jacob Collier
Not only did the women cause mayhem with their vibrant outfits, but singer-songwriter Jacob Collier looked hideous in a vibrant patchwork suit with a pink turtleneck and the most beautiful blue flower necklace design imaginable.
Ice Spice
Ice Spice arrived at the Grammys 2024 wearing a denim skirt and jacket with faux fur trim, accessorized with a large gold cross, and an elaborate belt buckle. While the 'Barbie World' rapper's appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards might make some fans feel a little outdated, one cannot help but adore the ensemble because it was a fun and surprising pick that had the perfect high-low combo for the ceremony.
Dawn Richard
Except for the absurd tree branches that stretched above her and encircled her in a canopy of scarlet leaves, Dawn Richard's outfit was elegant and simple. A collection of crimson floral patterns, reminiscent of a blossoming tree, was sewn onto the bodice. The outfit is from the Khosrov line, which drew inspiration from the famous 'Primavera' picture by Sandro Botticelli.
Jon Batiste
Fans were worried that this year's male music stars would not thrill them as much as they did last time, but Jon Batiste, a multiple contender, had to feature on this list for his stunning Versace kilt suit. It's stylish and unique. Although we think there are more interesting boot options than those and are not entirely sold on the pants, which may have had a leaner cut, the jacket and kilt are stunning and this was one of the night's most striking ensembles.
