LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 67th Grammy Awards have officially started and stars beelined to attend the greatest night of the music industry in their glamorous best. While most of the celebrities dressed to impress, a few failed to do so.

Whether it is Jaden Smith's Wednesday Addams' dollhouse-inspired head gear (not literally), or Lady Gaga's all-black goth queen look, they failed to deliver.

As celebrities attended the Grammys at the Crypto.com Arena on February 2, Sunday, in Los Angeles, California, here are 10 such looks that could not slay on the red carpet.

1. Jaden Smith

Jaden Smith has never been one to shy away from a dramatic outfit on the red carpet, and the 67th Grammy Awards were no different. Will Smith's musician son walked the red carpet in a Louis Vuitton structured tuxedo which appeared partly comical with puffed-up sleeves and tucked-in waist. While the rest of the attire was still passable, the huge black castle headpiece grabbed attention...for worse. His face was protruding from the castle's entrance.

2. Chrishell Strause

Chrishell Stause's Grammy red carpet look appeared more as a modern twist to bridal couture than a red carpet look. The 'Selling Sunset' star pulled off a Galia Lahav look, featuring a lace corset paired with wide-legged white trousers. While the actress could have ended it here, to create a modern silhouette she added a half skirt, making the outfit quite over the top.

3. Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini walked the red carpet in a custom Tamara Ralph black-beaded mini dress paired with an ivory-white oversized opera coat that trailed behind her, per Cosmopolitan. While we have nothing against the classic pairing of black and white, the two garment pieces clashed boldly in structure - the flowy white with the stiffness of the black dress. Nevertheless, the 'Voice' coach's hair and make-up were on point.

4. Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen's red carpet look - which was reminiscent of a goth mermaid look - sadly missed the mark by a few points. John Legend's wife showed off her curves in a sheer gown from designer Christian Siriano's spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, featuring a boned corset and the same mesh material framing her legs in a fitted gown. From thigh downwards, the mesh material pooled into a tulle-like skirt that trailed behind her.

5. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga stayed true to her signature dramatic looks on the red carpet but sadly failed to impress many. The Grammy winner for Best Group Performance appeared at the event in an all-black ensemble complete with an intricately detailed top, draped skirt, and boots. The 'Die With a Smile' songstress styled her hair in blunt bangs and accessorized with a Tiffany necklace. While Gaga changed into a more chic black dress later in the evening, one wouldn't be wrong to say that too many things were happening in her red carpet outfit all at once!

6. Sheryl Crowe

Sheryl Crow's dress lacked originality as it appeared a little too casual for the red carpet of the greatest night of the music industry, per Kiss. Her sequined multi-color dress, while flattered her figure, looked more suited for a day out at a music festival. Her turquoise bohemian jewelry only emphasized the point.

7. Teddy Swims

Teddy Swims' shimmery peach suit, while capturing attention with its fresh color palette, invoked retro fashion with the oversized pearl sequins sewn on the coat. The large pearls gave off the '70s vibe of disco while taking away the otherwise polish of the entire outfit.

8. Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves' red carpet attire was neatly divided into two distinct halves that failed to give off a cohesive look. She paired a gorgeous Ralph Lauren floor-grazing skirt with a plain white tank top! Though we are all for balancing outfits, the casual white top posed a stark contrast to the couture skirt. Moreover, she tied the look with a silver metal belt that did nothing to create a cohesive look.

9. Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish leaned to her singular style again for the Grammy 2025, which sadly did nothing to elevate her fashion game. The Record of the Year nominee opted for a black-and-white look from Prada featuring wide-legged pants, a white shirt and a black jacket. Eilish's statement black shades made an appearance again on the red carpet as she also opted for a graphite-colored cap.

10. Kanye West and Bianca Censori

While Kanye West's look was non-descript at best and casual at worst, it was Bianca Censori's scandalous style that grabbed a lot of eyeballs, literally. The Yeezy designer walked the red carpet in a black fur coat which she later removed to reveal her sheer dress that left little to imagination. Her dress - or the lack of it - definitely grabbed the spotlight!
