'The rumors are true!' Gypsy Rose Blanchard announces pregnancy, expecting first child with BF Ken Urker
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her boyfriend Ken Urker are set to welcome their first baby!
The TV personality made the announcement over her social media and also shared a YouTube video on Tuesday, July 9.
“Well…the rumors are true!” she wrote in the caption.
“Ken and I are so excited to start our family together and i can’t wait to share my journey with you here on YouTube and my other social media platforms. Thank you for all your support so far and i can’t wait to see our family grow.”
In her Instagram post, Blanchard shared, “We are proud to announce we are expecting our first child in January 2025💗.”
In the YouTube clip, Blanchard said she’s 11 weeks pregnant with Urker's baby and noted that the pregnancy was “not planned” and “completely unexpected.” “But we’re both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood,” she added.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard also addressed concerns her fans may have, “I know that there are going to be people who feel like I’m not ready to be a mother, and I don’t know if anyone’s really ready to become a mother.”
“When I found out I was pregnancy, nothing else mattered,” she said while adding that her priority is to stay healthy, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
“It’s an amazing feeling when your whole world shifts. And suddenly it’s not about you; it’s not about anything other than the tiny little life that’s inside you that you are now in charge of protecting,” Blanchard expressed.
“And that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that’s yours, you that you have to make sure that you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wished I could have had when I was little.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard got emotional when she said, “All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby. Knowing that, I am a mother now, and I am happy, and I just want to be a good mother for my child. I want to be everything my mother wasn’t.”
Blanchard is a past convict, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for her involvement in her mother Dee Dee Blanchard’s death.
She is on parole from Missouri’s Chillicothe Correctional Center, after serving 85 percent of her original sentence.
