'Too dark': Internet slams Gypsy Rose Blanchard's surprise appearance on 'The Kardashians' Season 5
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gypsy Rose Blanchard made a 'surprise' entry on 'The Kardashians.'
As season 5 begins, the show released a teaser in which the TV personality met Kim Kardashian.
In the opening episode, Blanchard opens the door as Kardashian says, “Hi Gypsy!” and Blanchard responds with "Hi!"
They both seem to go in for a hug as the scene cuts out.

Blanchard also shared a clip from the meeting on her TikTok account. “Surprise! 😉 This was such an honor to talk about prison reform with Kim K. She is a lovely person💗” she wrote.
Interestingly, Blanchard earlier shared her plan to meet Kardashian and work with her in the future.
“It would be cool. She has that huge platform for prison reform, and I have been in prison! So having those two elements I think we could do some good in the world!” she told Extra in January.
Gypsy was convicted for her involvement in the killing of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard along with her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn.
“I was in prison for eight-and-a-half years. I think my sentence was fair. I take it as a learning experience. I did something wrong, and I take accountability for that,” she reflected.
Blanchard also talked with ET a few weeks ago about her next move. “I think that I’m entering into a new era in my life, definitely, having learned a lot about me over these last four months. I think that right now I’m just trying to move forward in my life and kind of showing who I am and discovering,” she said.
'The Kardashians' new season will stream on Hulu from Thursday, May 23.
