LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: For months now, whispers of trouble in paradise have surrounded Justin and Hailey Bieber despite their Instagram-perfect love story.

According to insiders, it’s not looking great as some of Hailey’s closest friends have reportedly urged her to walk away from her "loose cannon" husband, but she isn’t going anywhere.

Hailey and Justin Bieber's church's stance on divorce might be stopping her from ending marriage

According to a new source, she can’t leave even though her friends have described the 'Baby' singer as an "unpleasant person to be around" who "sometimes shuts her down and refuses to talk to her for days."

Celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi’s 'Deux U' podcast recently revealed an anonymous email from someone with insider knowledge of Churchome—the very church the Biebers are deeply tied to.

The source, who has apparently been around Justin in religious settings, shared a key reason why a split isn’t happening.

"Churchome and many other religions teach married couples that God only accepts divorce under two circumstances, one being abuse and the other being infidelity," they shared.

By those standards, divorce is off the table for Justin and Hailey. Reportedly, there’s no evidence of cheating or abuse—just a whole lot of dysfunction.

Insider claims Justin Bieber has 'checked out' of marriage with Hailey Bieber

Apparently, Justin Bieber isn’t just struggling—he’s given up on trying.

The source continued, "He is not a bad guy, but needs professional help and not just church counseling."

"Sometimes members of the church rely only on pastoral counseling instead of advocating for real professional help. Sadly, from what I am hearing, he’s not even getting church counseling anymore. He has completely checked out," they remarked.

According to Perez Hilton, this paints a bleak picture. Without any real intervention, Justin’s problems are festering, and Hailey is left trying to support a husband who isn’t receptive.

To make matters worse, he’s reportedly engaging in behaviors that go against the church's teachings.

"I also find it ironic, although not the least bit surprising, coming from religious folks that he preaches religion on his Instagram, but has no problem doing other things that go against the church," the tipster further shared.

Celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi kept the details vague, but the source confirmed one thing—Justin is back to smoking weed.

This is a big deal considering Justin has been candid about his past struggles with addiction.

In his 2020 documentary 'Justin Bieber: Seasons', the 'Yummy' hitmaker admitted things once got so bad that he was "popping pills and smoking a blunt" first thing in the morning, with his team having to check his pulse at night.

He reportedly vowed to get clean, however, new photos of him hitting a bong have been floating around on social media.

Justin Bieber's church leader might be 'enabling' his downward spiral

Justin Bieber's faith once seemed like his grounding force, but according to the source, his current church leader, Judah Smith, might be doing more harm than good.

The insider noted, "Judah is a great husband and father and a great guy, but he should never be involved in counseling Justin, either individually or for his marriage. He is extremely soft and enables Justin. I don’t know what other pastors bring their kids around while Justin is smoking a bong and posting pictures with it. Not really a good look.”

In other words, rather than holding Justin accountable, Smith may be offering a free pass. And instead of turning to his faith community for guidance, Justin has seemingly distanced himself.

The source added, "Justin doesn’t want to officially file for divorce, but also doesn’t want anything to do with his wife or family."

Justin's connection with Smith goes deeper as he has shared several posts on him on Instagram beginning long back.

In a post made in 2020, he expressed his love for the pastor, writing, "Love you pastor @judahsmith," then again in a post made in 2024, the singer wrote, "PRAYER OF GUIDENCE FROM MY BROSKI @judahsmith."

And, unfortunately, those he is surrounding himself with may not have his best interests at heart.

"Not all church people are good. Believe me, I’ve seen it all, but he did have a close-knit community and support system at church. It’s a shame to not see him around anymore. It’s a shame that he has pushed the good people in his life away and cuts them off when they try to advocate for him to get professional help," the source shared.

The final blow is that the mole believes Justin is now surrounded by people "using him for money."
