What is 'Maude v Maude' starring Halle Berry and Angelina Jolie about?
'Maude v Maude' is an action-thriller movie that is supposed to have Berry and Jolie fighting "physically and intellectually" on the big screen. Scott Mosier wrote the screenplay, which is directed by Roseanne Liang.
The producing team of the film includes both Berry and Jolie, making the project far more exciting. Distributor Warner Bros won the project, dubbed a "global action thriller a la Bond vs Bourne," after a fierce bidding war in April.
"Warner Bros, bought our screenplay and, for us, it is about going places that have never been shown on screen before," stated Berry to Variety.
According to the outlet, the actress visited Saudi Arabia partly to look for potential filming locations as she mentioned, "We plan on going all around the world."
Berry recently shared her views on a 'Maude v Maude' post on X (formerly Twitter) that included photos of her and Jolie. She captioned it, "Someone just tweeted a 'mother off' and I'm laughing so hard right now."
