Hallmark star Brennan Elliott's wife Camilla Row undergoes surgery amid stage 4 gastric cancer battle

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brennan Elliott's wife Camilla Row has shared an important health update amid her ongoing battle with cancer. 

The Hallmark star’s wife recently shared on her Instagram Story, per People, that she would be undergoing a major surgery to treat her stage IV gastric cancer.

Row took to her private Instagram on June 7 to announce that she would be undergoing an operation to fight her cancer. She later underwent the surgery as reported by Heavy.

Per Heavy, she shared a picture of herself lying on the hospital bed with her husband sitting beside her reading a script. 

Per People, she also shared a link to the Heavy article on her Instagram Story on June 8. 

Row underwent a "mass excision" surgery, which removed her belly button as part of the treatment to fight gastric cancer, according to Heavy.

The outlet reported, "Brennan has been pulling double duty, prepping for a movie & coming to see me daily, making the best of a makeshift office in my hospital room as I nap.”

They further informed that Row received a blood transfusion and will remain hospitalized until she feels better. While in hospital, she is reportedly 'desperately missing' her two children - Luna, nine, and son Liam, 12. 

Row’s cancer battle started in 2022. In April 2022, Elliott first shared with his fans that his wife was diagnosed with stage IV gastric cancer in an Instagram post.

He wrote, "Those closest to me know that my wife Cami has had several bouts with cancer in the past but now she embarks on a new journey as a Stage IV metastatic gastric cancer patient.”

Though he shared in another post in March 2023 that his wife was cancer-free, he shared in another update in March this year that she underwent a laparoscopic check of her peritoneum and that her doctors had found cancer once again.

Row wrote during that time, "Two out of five samples came back positive for cancer," before adding, "I know now my cancer is trying to comeback in the most ferocious and sneaky way.”

Fans prayed for Camilla Row's speedy recovery

On learning of Row's latest cancer update, fans online prayed for her speedy recovery. 

One of the fans said on Facebook, "Angels, you’re needed right now. Surround them with your love and healing wings."

Someone else said, "Sending prayers for Camilla to have a smooth recovery. Stay strong 💪🏻."

"Hope she has a speedy recovery," added another fan.
