Since 2000, Klum has hosted her legendary Halloween bash, and this year was no different, as she and husband Tom Kaulitz showcased a delightful twist on the iconic character ET from the beloved 1982 film, 'ET the Extra-Terrestrial'.

The couple unveiled their extraordinary costumes at Klum’s annual Halloween party, held at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City.
The eye-catching designs were brought to life by acclaimed prosthetics artist Mike Marino, known for his work on notable projects including Max’s 'The Penguin' and Sebastian Stan’s 'A Different Man'.
Marino has previously collaborated with Klum, having created her memorable worm costume in 2022 and the Shrek and Fiona ensemble in 2018.
In the lead-up to the event, Klum documented her extensive preparation process, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of her transformation, including images of her face adorned with intricate prosthetics.

She teased her fans with a sneak peek of her costume as early as September, posting a video that hinted at a slimy reptilian theme, although she kept the specifics under wraps until the reveal.

In an interview with People, Klum emphasized the meticulous effort that goes into her costumes, stating, “Because molds need to be made, prosthetics need to be made, fittings have to be had.” She acknowledged the pressure that accompanies her annual costume unveiling, aiming to exceed expectations and inspire fellow Halloween enthusiasts.
“It takes a long time. It takes a lot of planning,” Klum noted.
