KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI:  Harrison Butker is set to become the highest-paid kicker in NFL history!

The reigning champion has extended her deal with the Kansas City Chiefs and signed a new four-year contract of $26.5 million on Monday, August 5.

“A new deal in KC: Chiefs are signing standout kicker Harrison Butker to a four-year, $25.6 million extension that includes $17.75 million guaranteed," per sources. The deal ties Butker to KC through the 2028 season. "Butker represented and negotiated the deal himself,” tweeted ESPN’s Adam Schefter.



 

Harrison Butker to stay with Kansas City Chiefs till 2028

The deal comes with $17.75 million guaranteed and this means Harrison Butker will remain with his current club till the 2028 season.

“There’s no place I’d rather be than with the Chiefs, excited to finalize a 4-year extension. To the Heights!” Butker also posted on X, confirming contract renewal.

The contract puts Butker ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Jake Moody and the Baltimore Ravens’ Justin Tucker, who both make an average of $6 million yearly on their current deals, reports US Weekly.
