This family member also took the step of removing Hayden’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, from her home.

The intervention on October 6 was prompted by fans expressing concern over Hayden’s health after she appeared to slur her words during a media interview. At the time, she attributed her disoriented behavior to exhaustion.
Recently, Hayden has kept a low profile, with her last Instagram post dating back to September 24. She shared a photo from the Today show, expressing gratitude to her co-hosts.
Concerns about Hayden escalated after a September 18 interview with People, where she spoke affectionately about her daughter, Kaya. Viewers noted her slurred speech, leading many to urge the outlet to remove the video.

Hayden Panettiere addressed these worries in a September 22 Instagram post, stating, “It’s unfathomable that I’m even in this position.” She explained that she hadn’t slept for two days prior to the shoot due to a dog’s emergency surgery and described the exhausting nature of the 8-hour shoot followed by the interview. She clarified that her representative cut the interview short as it became clear she was struggling.

In her interview, she also discussed her brother, Jansen Panettiere, who passed away in 2023.
