Hayden Panettiere marks Jansen's first death anniversary, says she wakes up to his 'amazing paintings'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hayden Panettiere took to social media to commemorate the first anniversary of her brother Jansen Panettiere's death.
On Monday, February 19, the actress took to Instagram to pay a moving tribute to her late brother who died at the age of 28.

Sharing an image of herself and her brother Jansen petting a dog, Hayden wrote, "Today is the 1 year anniversary of my little brother's passing."
"Know that I keep him in my heart, keep his things close. His amazing paintings are what I see when I wake up and when I go to sleep," the 38-year-old said of Jansen's artwork, which he often posted images of on Instagram prior to his death.
"Rest in peace my brother. One day we'll meet again," she concluded her post.

On September 25, Hayden paid tribute to her late brother on Instagram on what would have been his 29th birthday.
"Happy Birthday little brother. I miss you everyday. I'll love you forever," Hayden wrote over a throwback picture of the siblings as kids posing in front of a Christmas tree.

How did Jansen Panettiere die?
Following Jansen's death in February 2023, his family disclosed details about the cause of his sudden death.
According to a police report, three of Jansen's friends found his body in his apartment and tried to revive him after he was found "unresponsive" in a chair.
In a statement to E! News, the 'Hero' alum and her parents Lesley Vogel and Skip Panettiere revealed that the medical examiner determined Jansen died "due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications."
"Jansen's heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile; his soul in his masterful and revealing paintings, and the joy of life in his dry wit," read the statement.
"His charisma, warmth, compassion for others, and his creative spirit will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all whom he encountered," the statement continued.
Jansen Panettiere's career as an actor and voiceover artist
Apart from his artworks, Jansen was known as an actor and a voiceover artist.
His career included notable appearances in Disney Channel's 'Even Steven' in 2002 and also roles in 'The Walking Dead', 'Everybody Hates Chris', and 'Hope & Faith.'
While he pursued acting, Jansen also worked as a voiceover artist in projects, including, 'Ice Age: The Meltdown', 'Blue's Clues', 'Robots', and 'The X's.'
