LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took a hilarious trip down memory lane this Christmas by resurrecting one of his infamous '90s looks.

In a video posted to Instagram on Monday, December 25, the 51-year-old actor sported a throwback outfit that has become legendary amongst fans - a black turtleneck, jeans, a gold chain, and a fanny pack.

He even donned a fake mullet wig to complete the blast-from-the-past ensemble, as per PEOPLE Magazine.

In the video, The Rock swaggered through his house while putting his humorous spin on 'The Christmas Song,' renaming it 'The '90s Rock Christmas Song.'

"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, '90s Rock nipping at your nose," crooned the actor, adding, "I'm walking down the hall, looking cool as f**k, just take one look at my amazing clothes."

He continued, "Everybody knows, a turkey and some camel toe, I mean mistletoe, helps to make the season bright."

As he reached the chorus, The Rock threw up a classic '90s hand gesture and sang, "Although it's been said, many times, many ways, Merry Christmas to you!"

The throwback outfit that The Rock chose for his Christmas video has quite a backstory. In 2016, when he was named People's Sexiest Man Alive, The Rock was asked about the very same turtleneck-and-fanny-pack look.

At the time, he said, "It takes a lot of confidence to rock a fanny pack. Put your thumb in the fanny pack. I’m giving a look."

The actor added, "I’ve got a tissue underneath my elbow because I felt like my turtleneck was expensive. The funniest thing about this picture is, this is not a joke. I walked out of the house like this. Like: Hey baby, this is it, right?"

Clearly, The Rock has come to fully embrace the styling of his youth, and as evidenced, he's not afraid to revisit it for some holiday hilarity even decades later.
