PLANTATION, FLORIDA: Rapper Kodak Black, 26, whose birth name is Bill Kapri, has once again found himself in legal trouble, this time facing charges of cocaine possession.

As news of the rapper's recent arrest spread, the internet was flooded with a wave of uproarious memes, humorously highlighting his return to prison after being previously pardoned by former President Donald Trump in 2020.

What led to Kodak Black's arrest?

The arrest took place in Plantation, where Kodak Black was booked into a county jail. In addition to the cocaine possession charge, he faces accusations of tampering with evidence, improperly stopping or parking a vehicle, and a traffic violation for obstructing the road, as per USA TODAY.

Florida Highway Patrol officers reportedly came across a black Bentley SUV blocking a roadway. Upon approaching the vehicle, they discovered the 'Roll in Peace' rapper asleep at the wheel with the window halfway down and a strong smell of cannabis emanating from inside.

Upon waking Kodak, officers found cannabis wrapping paper and residue in the SUV. A Styrofoam cup, believed to contain alcohol, was also noted.

The situation escalated when a white powder allegedly fell from the rapper, and several rock-like objects were observed on the ground.

The arrest report details further findings, including a clear plastic bag with a white substance in Kodak's pocket and his mouth reportedly full of white powder.

Field tests conducted at the scene suggested cocaine, although Kodak claimed it was Percocet.

This arrest comes just three years after Kodak received a pardon from former president Trump for a 2020 firearm-related conviction.

Earlier this year, a Florida judge issued an arrest warrant for the 'ZEZE' rapper in February after he failed a court-ordered drug test while awaiting a narcotics trafficking trial.

Kodak had served about half of his three-year sentence before being pardoned.
