What to expect from 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street?'
This Broadway show is an adaptation of Christopher Bond’s play of the same name.
Here, Sondheim provides the music and lyrics, with a book by Wheeler, narrating the story of the "resourceful pie shop owner" Mrs. Lovett and the vengeful barber Sweeney Todd.
Back in London after completing a prison term, Todd transforms his barber shop into a venue for confronting and seeking revenge against those who have wronged him, with the assistance of Mrs. Lovett.
In August, Locke discussed his "weird guilt," acknowledging that his loved ones are impacted by his newfound fame. The 20-year-old shared with Teen Vogue that he feels "by association, their lives are influenced by choices in my life."

“It's a mutual thing. I need to learn my boundaries and people need to learn their boundaries. Most attention comes from a really good place, and I hope I always appreciate that,” he added.
In 2022, Locke defended his 'Heartstopper' co-star and onscreen love interest, Kit Connor, after she revealed feeling pressured to come out as bisexual on social media.
Connor made his first public statement about his sexuality after facing accusations of "queerbaiting" from fans. In a post on X, he wrote, "I'm bi. Congrats on forcing an 18-year-old to out himself. I think some of you missed the point of the show. Bye."
Locke expressed his support for Connor with a tweet, stating, "You owe nothing to anyone. I'm so proud of you, my friend," at that time.
